Scheduled appointment and he didn't show up. We wasted our time waiting on him. If a landscaper can't show for the initial meeting why on earth would you hire him.

Save your money. Stay away from this business and hire another.



Anything is better than this mediocre "landscaper." The business owner, Armando, will overcharge and do a poor job. He promised a design plan and didn't deliver. We asked him for the design and his excuse was that he had been busy taking care of some personal business. As a result, we were dissatisfied with the design and product. This was our first experience hiring a landscaper and we missed all the red flags. We felt that since he was accredited with the Better Business Bureau, that he would provide a good service. We were so wrong. We learned a costly lesson.

He left us with a broken sprinkler system and a mess in our front yard. The two workers he sent to do the job were incompetent illegals. I overheard them talking about crossing the border illegally. What kind of business is this?? They kept breaking our sprinklers and even cut an underground utility line. Armando was present during some of these incidents. It amazes me how he can hold any kind of license as a landscaper. He did not returned for any repairs and never returned our phone calls. Instead, he walk away with our money. We made a huge mistake in paying him anything. We cancelled the last check we gave him to cover the repairs ourselves. He never called us asking for his money or to resolve anything. He knew he had already walked away with more money than he should have. Instead, 6 months later he cashed the check. He even altered the check so he could get the money. He has obviously done this before and knew what to do. He must be used to cancelled checks from dissatisfied customers. We are taking action against him through our bank for check tempering.

DON'T TAKE A RISK WITH THIS BUSINESS!

I was impressed with the way I was treated and the concise answers to my questions. I used them to expand my current sprinkler system. The work was perfect and on time, which I appreciate, but what impressed me the most was that they valued my time, did not talk down to me, and explained briefly to the point what was needed and why. The prices were competitive, but the service quality and professional demeanor were what made me write this review.

I have used AAffordable for the past 18 month for regular maintnance at my home. I have to say that I am very pleased with their service and proffesionalism. Not only they have done the regular maintnance, but they also did some landscaping improvement for our courtyard. The design, recommendations and the way the proposal was presented was very professional and once the work was complete it, my wife and I were very satisfied.

As part of the regular maintnance, one of their employee noticed that one of my sprinkler heads was not functioning properly.. He took the initiative to fix it and charge a very reasonable price. I like the fact that they are proactive and make sure that everything is taken care off. They take their time to clean after the work is complete it.

We love their work and most importantly on this type of bussiness, we are satisfied with their reliability.

One of the main factor that made us switch to them is how long they have been in bussiness. In the past, We have had the experience that our old landscaper will go out of bussiness and we will have no idea. All the sudden no one comes to take care of the maintnance.



FYI.. their prices for maintnance and landscape improvements are very competitive.

In October, I hired A-Affordable to remove the weeds from my yard, lay some top soil and plant grass seed. I also had them remove one small and one medium size tree.



First they sprayed herbicide to kill off all of the existing grass and weeds. Two weeks later they completed the rest of the work.



After three months of daily watering, the grass seed never came up. All of the weeds that I thought were killed off grew back worse than before. They also removed some hedges that I told them not to remove.



I called A-Affordable to tell them the grass seed they planted never grew in. They told me they would be back in April to apply more grass seed but never did. At this point my yard was filled with more weeds than before because of the constant watering.



I had to spend thousands of dollars more to redo their work and have it done the right way.



A-Affordable did not deliver as promised and is one business to stay clear of.
