Many of the teachers are really good. Excellent and loving. That's something I really appreciated. There were 2 that I didn't agree with and that made me uncomfortable. One team was too young and inexperienced to handle my daughters class and though I liked them they weren't handling the kids well on an emotional or structural level. They were replaced with a teacher I never liked. I felt like they had better choices to chose from.

The other teacher I didn't feel comfortable with has a name that suits her. She is too rigid. I didn't like picking up my son who would consistently be thirsty because he wasn't given enough time or opportunity to drink water. (Summer time, 5 second counts.) That was concerning. I started sending him with water and it helped. I always made sure I came with plenty for him to drink in the car also. I talked to her once and she told me that he gets as much as everybody else and brushed me off. So those things made me uncomfortable.

They've had a high turn over rate in the pre-k class. My daughter went through 3 teachers in one year. I would have liked to have seen their staff paid more so that they could've stayed. Apparently their pay is low. I assumed always that they paid well since their cost of tuition is so high and they have grandparents who volunteer. But it's low and the quality of food is low also.

I am curious where all their money goes. They're higher prices than the Montessori schools.

But overall it's a good place and I felt safe having my kids here. Their director is good. She was good at hiring caring people to work there. That's a good skill. I would never have thought my kids would be beaten or abused there. They were happy. My son really didn't like his 2 yr old teacher but he loved her assistants and so did I.
