Western Fence Company did a wonderful job on my chain-link fence. This was my first experience purchasing a fence and Western Fence Company made the process simple and easy. Excellent quality work and the installers displayed great customer service. I recommend Western Fence Company to everyone for their fencing needs, you should definitely call this company first when you are requesting quotes/bids. A+++

Wow, next time I will read reviews about a company before I use them, but I would concur, poor customer service, they took my deposit, and then could not deliver on their work.



After more than two weeks, we are still not on the schedule, no returned calls, and finally a manager says he will refund our deposit (claiming he never received any of our messages). After all, they have not done any work, so why should then have our money???



Now today, someone from the accounting department states that there will be a $75 fee charged, because the manager wasn't authorized to refund our money. This fee is to cover Blue Stakes (a free service) and the credit card fees (American Express says they don't charge for refunds.)



Want to talk to the owner? He didn't answer is phone and thus far, has not returned our calls.

I would NEVER do business with this company. 3 months and job is still incomplete. Salesman is no longer there and the owner Jayson McLaughlin is as unprofessional as they come. He does not know the first thing about customer service. Our fence does not completely close in our yard and they are blaming it on the sales person not properly measuring it. We paid more money than other bids. Do NOT use this group!

VERY unprofessional, unreliable. Do not return calls. They have taken 4 months to do a very small job. Impossible to get anyone to call back or to schedule completion. Sloppy install of railings with broken tiles. Fence install took FOREVER and workmen left a mess. Lousy business sense and very poor customer relations. I would not recommend or use them again.

We needed an iron fence with a gate. They came when they said and did what they were supposed to. They were fabulous in all aspects. I was weary because of their rating but all know that generally you write reviews when your ticked. They really do a great job.

Terrible customer service! After taking our deposit, it was nearly impossible to get a call back. Our multiple voicemails went unreturned. When we called to complain, they were rude and wouldn't listen. They didn't stick to timelines we were told and didn't show when expected. We didn't know what was going to be done or when and couldn't get a call back for the information. We ended up canceling the work order and was argued with for the refund. We didn't feel valued as a customer at all.

I would not hold your breath, it is "my opinion" that the owner Jayson McLaughlin ( who hides behind his employees) is a crook and a liar and I would not wish the nightmare that I experianced with this fly by night company, ( just my opnion). on anyone. thanx, I will do anything I can for as long as I can, to let everyone I meet and know just how badly I have been treated by this wanna-be fence company! "( Again this is My personal opinion based on my experiance)". My rating of this company, neg.-9. a very very disatisfied customer. Lou Elmer.

PS I've been dealing with this issue for 5 years. And yes I hold a grudge against this company, I am reminded everytime I go out into my backyard.

Working with Western Fence was a nightmare. I signed a contract for $5,418 to provide powder-coated chain link and ornamental iron fencing with $2,709 down on Nov. 14, 2011. My credit card was charged on Nov. 16, 2011. it is now Jan. 17, 2012 and the only work they have done is to install and cement 19 fence posts. For over eight weeks I have not been able to let my animals outside. When I call to talk to the salesperson or someone in charge, no one ever calls back. When I finally did reach them, I was fed every excuse in the book for the delay: workers don't show up to work, the powder coating company is late, our crews are working out of state, we are finishing up a major commercial job, etc., etc., etc. When they did arrive after 5 weeks to install the posts, they sent two guys with a beat up fence post digger to use by hand. Bottom line is that they have bid jobs low to get lots of work and then cannot deliver the goods. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Their lower bid is not worth the headache and aggravation they will cause you. It is anyone’s guess when they will finish your job.

Sloppy, horrible work!! Irreparable damage was done to my brand new driveway, and Western Fence refused to fix it and refused to reduce my bill. They slopped cement all over our driveway when putting in the fence posts, and didn't clean it up. It set and dried and now cannot be removed. They came to my house 3 times to try and fix it, but continued to just make it worse. They ruined my area rug that was on the patio. They left my yard damaged and in less that perfect condition, and made us pay full price. They simply did not care - worst workmanship I've ever seen. Clearly, they take no pride in their work. I would not recommend Western Fence to anyone - I would recommend that you go elsewhere!!
