Tanner Transmissions Saved Memorial Day For My Family & Me. My family owns a 2000 Safari Continental. The transmission went bad just before we were headed out of Salt Lake City. We got a hold of Tanner transmissions downtown on State Street. Told them our situation and they got the Safari in right away. I got a coupon in the mail and sent in my car on a tow truck. Jerry told me that they serviced the transmission but that it was still shifting late and very hard. I had originally took it to the chevy dealer here in Salt Lake City, They wanted to put in a new one which was way to much money. Tanner transmission rebuilt the transmission in my Suburban. I have had it for about a month now. I had to comeback because there was a leaking seal. Took them like an hour to do when they told me it would be only 'a few minutes.' Anyway, at least was taken care of under warranty. And they said my next transmission oil change in a year is free. I know things can't be 100% all the time however Tanner took care of everything for me.

Got a rear end rebuilt here on a Chevy Tahoe. Guys seemed knowledgeable. . Drives good and no noises so far. Jim and his mechanics took longer than I hoped though, something about a dealer part. Over all it's run'n strong and I would recommend to anyone in salt lake city if they need auto or truck repair check out Tanner.

Jim the manager took me out on a test drive and told me what he thought was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it.
