Silverado Aspen Park

It became necessary to place my mother in a long-term care facility after she suffered two strokes last year. When we researched Silverado, the director of the facility gave us a personal tour and took all the time necessary to answer our questions. The facility has more of a home like atmosphere, rather than a hospital-type environment. The residents receive personalized care and are free to move about the facility without restriction. They have a number of different types of activities on a regular basis. They also have a day care facility on site for their employees and the children interact with the residents. The pets of the residents are also on site regularly, and animal therapy is a part of the resident experience. ###Families are welcome to visit anytime and if they come at mealtimes are generally offered a meal, along with the residents. ###We have found Silverado to be an excellent place, making a difficult situation easier.
