The Division of Purchasing promulgates the state s procurement rules, handles vendor appeals related to bid protest decisions, and sources and administers price agreements. It maintains an online solicitation publication system for competitive procurements. The division conducts procurements for various state departments. The Division of Purchasing runs a small business development program for state procurement. The division also administers a procurement card program. It conducts public procurement training classes. The Division of Purchasing is a part of the Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration, which is governed by the state of Colorado.
