The guys in the office on 3300 have gotten me outta trouble more than a few times. i stopped by the office in orem the other day and still was not disappointed. Never found lower rates at another payday or signature loan place. yeah its not a bank but if you could go to the bank you wouldn't be reading this review would you?

ive been coming back to the office on 33rd for about two years. never fail to help me out when i need it. oh and if you come before about two there not super busy.

stopped by mlc last week. parking lot was full but i parked less than a block away on a side street. lobby was packed but the staff was quickly getting everyone taken care of. took me about 30 mins from the time i filled out the application to the time i signed the contract to get out the door with a $400 check. i was approved for more but thats all i needed at the time. First payment is coming up due in about a week and is only $2. Ill be letting anyone that needs some extra cash know to stop by, its quick and painless!

I was in a small bind about four weeks ago. My truck's tranny was going out and even with my check i was short. I had seen mountain loan centers commercials and decided to check them out. i went to the location on 3300 s and about 9th e. The staff in there had me in and out the door in about 20 minutes with an $800 check. They were very friendly, professional, and efficient. I just got the loan paid off and ill be back if i ever find myself in another position like that again.

They are RACIST... They claimed that I could NOT receive a LOAN because I don't EARN my income. I'm not on WELFARE and Native American establishments are profitable and are benefits of ALL tribal members of that specific community. Just like with any company ... There are SHAREHOLDERS for those that invest in it. We are ALL in it... As a full time student that moved across this country, I tapped out many of my resources. I am MORE than capable of paying back. Being that I'm in an area where the cost of living is extremely cheap now... But I feel it was a CULTURAL thing... Every now n Then, a NATIVE is gonna need help.. But these racists SURE let us know how they felt... RRRRRRAAAACISSSSSST

If your thinking about getting a loan from them, DON'T!!!! Turn and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. This place is worse than Hell!!! Worse decision I have ever made...

I recieved a loan through this company 6 months ago. I went to the location on 3300 S. and that was complete chaos. The parking was horrible, the customer service was not all that great but i had to stick it out because financially i was not in a position not too. I was only dealing with that location for a month or two after i got the loan and then started dealing with the corporate office. That was a much better experience for me. I worked with Bryan and Correen in collections and they helped me with the dreadful intrest and also payment arrangments. Last week i paid them off in full and it is because of the help i recieved from Bryan. He is absolutly amazing. I would never get another loan, because i hate payday and signature loans but if i was in the same position i was i would go back and deal with Bryan all over again. He was a total sweetheart. Also, remember for the bad reviews on here, if you are nice to people and actually make an effort, you will get the same in return.

Me and a friend took 1 1/2 hours off work to come in early because we were on a time crunch. The place was packed, and we ended up waiting for literally more than 2 hours. It is understandable to a point, they obviously can't help it if they have a lot of customers come in. But seriously, get additional employees. Its ridiculous, especially towards new clients. And like the other complaints here, my roommate was approved for $500, and they only offered $200. So I offered to cosign (which is stupid of course) and they approved us of $350. Which we declined until they "Were able to raise it to $450" even with my exceptional payment history. It was a bit of an irritation considering we were guaranteed approval, and felt like it was additional time of ours wasted. The contract was a little daunting as well. If we had let it get past the 20 days our loan would double to $1000. Nevertheless we paid it back in full, and had no additional problems. My recommendation is not to take out large loans unless you're sure you can pay it off and not get late fees. And also don't show on Fridays or any time after 3:30 for that matter.

I got a 200 dollar loan, with interest and everything I was ending up paying just over 700 bucks. I missed one payment and my interest rate sky rocketed. I ended up paying them over 1200 for a 200 dollar loan. Bad mistake learned my lesson about mountain loan center.

This place is the biggest joke ever!!!! Not only do they blow up your phone telling you that you are qualified but when you go in they sit and play on their cell phones or talk to each other and then deny you!! This is not from your competitor either this is from someone who was told that I was pre approved and drove 45 min. in the snow to sit and be ignored for 56 minuets only to be told that my debt to income was too high!!! What a huge waste of time!! I have been at my job for 6 years and lived in the same house for that long too and still did not qualify!! This place is a freakin joke!! If I could have given it a negative star I would have!!!

These people tell you that you are approved for 4000.00 then they say they have to send their paperwork to their underwriter and they call and say oh sorry you can only borrow 1100.00 at a super high rate. The whole time they say your pre-approved for a huge dollar amount and then when it comes down to it they only offer you a tiny amount. Dont waste your time...they get your hopes up and then bam.... your not qualified for the amount they originally tell you. Very bad experience with them.

every response you have written on bad ratings you claim they written by your competitor....but it seems to me every good review sounds like an ad on T.V. coincidence???NO

Keeps calling and texting that i was preapproved, got my hopes up just so they can deny me after non stop txt and phone calls. You go into the office, dill out paper work than you wait while they fax info to corporate office to see if your approved. If denied the peopla @ the office easily tells you to call corporate cause they deal with underwriting. Do not apply if your paying child support oe going bankrupt cauaw they will not approve you cause your paying your bills.

I would never use this company again! My loan was for $300.00 and my payments were $54.00 every two weeks. After reviewing the contract if I had paid this loan the way they had it set up, I would have ended up paying over $1100.00 for a $300.00 loan! If you pay even 1 day late you get charged a $10.00 late fee, and you get charged the same amount for everyday you are late. They are a rip off, so check out your options with other companies. I found Check City to be the best place, because after about the first 3 payments most of your payments thereafter go towards the interest and not the principal. I was able to get a $600.00 loan with my loan being $874.00 with principal and interest added. A much better deal. So as far as mountain loan goes I would give them a rating of "0!" I will never go there again!!

Got a 2300 loan when I needed It. And to top it off the first payment was only $2. You guys Rock

Awesome! Got the $1200 I needed. I wen to check city and they had only approved my loan for $650.00 and then I wen to Mountain Loan Centers and they gave me $1200.00 without holding my check or title.

What a great loan. I borrowed $1150.00 and my first payment was only $2.00 There loan is cheaper than a payday loan an+d they dont hold a check or debit my bank account. This is a reasonable way to borrow money

This place is horrible they should be sued for there predatory actions borrowed 500 payed 450 got behind he sued for 2500 this guy who owns this place belongs in hell.
