I've worked for linguistica for 1 year and 3 months exactly and all i was getting pay was $10 and hour. When i was hired i was told that every 6 months they give you a raise (lie!!). This company really doesnt value the hard work that the interpreters do. All they care about is them getting pay for the services that the interpreters provide to their rude clients. A couple of weeks a go i got fired from this job and the excuse they gave was that i was always late! I used to take uber in order for me to go work. I cant tell the driver to drive fast when they are 45 to 50 minutes away from were i live. That was out of my hands. They new my situation and they didnt care my supervisor never gave me the 2 warnings for me to sign until a day after i got fired. The worst part was when the "boss" called me in the office he said i was fired and they gave me the lame excuse that i was late when i knew why exactly why they fired me. A few weeks backs i had ask the boss to give me a raise and all he said was ( i prefer giving you lunch instead) when i was at the office i asked him a question for the excuse he was giving me for being fired and he never answer me all he was doing was looking at his phone didnt even bother looking at me and didnt even respect that i was there trying for him to answer my question. All he did was look at the supervisor for her to answer my question. That was really rude!! They are a joke!! Interpreters deserve to get pay $18 an hour not $10. And if you dont remind them of giving you a raise they will never give you one or you will just end up fired like me! Im a good interpreter and it makes me sad that i gave them a year and three months for nothing honestly. All they do is take advantage of you. Learn to appreciate the people who work for you! The people who are making you rich with their hard work while you pay them only $10 an hour.

This business use underhand marketing techniques; making use of the names of other companies to promote their business. A company which needs to operate in this underhand manner is not professional. I'd certainly never approach them for anything.
