        Genuine Handmade Hardwood Frames for Your Heirloom images and artwork.

        General Info
        These frames are made by hand by photographer Tom Mills. He started making these frames while displaying his fine art landscape prints. The frames came about because he wanted a more "high quality" frame then what he could get from traditional frame shops. Now when you buy one of his prints, you can also request one of his handmade frames to go with it, making for a more distinctive piece than most photographers can offer. As he displayed his frames, it became apparent that they had a much greater application than just his fine art prints.

        We provide authentic, handmade, hardwood frames, for your heirloom prints and artwork. Our corners are half lap and are far superior in strength and aesthetics than 45 degree cornering. Because our frames are made by hand, from genuine hardwoods, the frames themselves will eventually mature into antiques. We can work with any wood you choose and can make a variety of custom sizes. We also use various wood dowels in the corners, adding to the aesthetics and strength.

        What a beautiful frame selection. I had trouble choosing the combination of woods that would offset the picture I was framing. Tom helped me with my final decision. I chose a combination of hickory with walnut dowels. The final product was a work of art.

        His frames are handmade and his attention to detail and the quality of his craftsmanship is obvious when you look at his work. His cornering is quite unique (half lap) when compared to traditional 45 degree cornering. Very nice and viewers ask "Where did you get that frame?"

        This frame is beautiful. The corners are flawless and the hand rubbed oil finish brings out the grain and enhances the inherent beauty of the wood. Tom really listened and made the frame I was looking for and more. I'm getting so much enjoyment out of this frame and the artwork it surrounds.

        He builds beautiful custom made frames. The designer is fun to work with. We enjoy our frame which surrounds our family portrait taken prior to our daughter deploying to Iraq. He took great care in packaging the frame.

        I would definitely work with him again.
