General Info

Established in 1943, the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology offers a wide range of health care services to patients. It provides diagnosis, treatment, medical education and research services. The department offers residential programs in the areas of obstetrical care, pelvic pain, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology and reproductive endocrinology fertility. It undertakes research in perinatal biology, pelvic reconstructive surgery and geriatric gynecology. In addition to that, the department organizes conferences, workshops and seminars and offers a variety of community outreach programs. It is administered by the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
