My husband and I are going to be having our first baby and needed a practical car that would fit our needs (I drove a coupe which would be annoying to get a car seat in and out of). We searched for three months. We test drove, no joke, 20+ cars, and none of them fit our needs. Then, we came to Car City. We found a car we liked, test drove it, took it to our mechanic, and it passed all of our tests! There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed on the vehicle, but they fixed it before we even drove the vehicle off the lot. There were a couple of things that came up after we bought the car, and they fixed those too without any charge to us! Gus and all of the members at Car City were all very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Oh, did I mention that they gave us almost twice what Toyota in Boutiful offered us for our trade in? Yeah. They did. They didn't try to low-ball us at all! Love these guys and appriciate them for relieving the huge headache of finding a new car for our growing family!!

Car City me vendio un carro en Diciembre de 2015. Trabajo bien hasta dos semanas despues en que viaje con un amigo to Evanston y la luz del motor se prendio. Entonces yo le cambiela gasolina y estuvo bien hasta tres semanas despues en que viaje a Park City por asuntos de trabajo y la luz del motor se prendio otra vez. Supestamente lo arreglaron. El dia siguiente viaje a Park City y la luz del motor se prendio otra vez. Les deje el carro por dos dias y al cabo de dos dias ellos me dijeron que le arreglaron los "spark plugs" y me cargaron $250.00. Yo guie el carro otra vez y el motor paro de trabajar de una vez. Al dia siguiente se los lleve y me dijeron que el motor no servia y que no estaba cubierto por la garantia. Steve el gerente tuvo la cara de preguntarme si le habia puesto canicas en el motor para arruinarlo. No le recomendaria esta casa de carros ni a mi peor enemigo.

This place is awful! I bought an 02 Nissan Altima back in August. The catalytic converter burned out within 2 weeks. They replaced it no problem. 2 weeks later it was burned out again. So I called them and they "fixed" it again but this time they tried to charge me $800 FOR A USED PART. Eventually they let me walk out with the keys after I explained I used to work in the auto industry and I know for a fact that they are responsible for covering the cost of the repairs since it wasn't fixed right to start with. 5 months in and my car is sitting in my driveway because the catalytic converter is burned out AGAIN and its misfiring. I'm done dealing with them. DO NOT buy a car from them. They lie about the quality of their vehicles and have shoddy business practices. And if I could give 0 stars I would

My experience at car city was very awful. My husband and I were searching for a car for him. We decided to trade in our car for a smaller car. They had the car on the website and we call to reserve a spot (husband wanted the car bad), we put a deposit on the car. We been waiting over a week for them to finish the car. They gave us the run around and the receptionist was very rude and said she would call me back. They never did. They always have to much people in the waiting room, because theirs always something wrong with their cars. Only reason I came to this dealership was because of OMAR. he was the best person there very kind and understanding. Also my husband wanted the car or I would of walk right out of there. If you get a car from them just expect to be waiting forever!!!

This is unacceptable. You took advantage of my grandmother selling her a $12,000 car that according to Kelly Blue Book is only worth $6,600.

The most expensive car I've ever bought. Car City ripped me off. The salesman told me I was buying a great car and he seemed like a great guy, so I didn't get it checked out by a mechanic (BIG MISTAKE). There were a few problems with it, but since it's used, I let the little problems slide. The following weeks after buying the car, I kept noticing more and more things that were broken and then one day the car wouldn't even start. I dumped a lot of money into it. More things broke and I dumped more money into it. I went back and tried to work with them on trading it in for a different car. They were only willing to trade it in for much less than I had bought it for and then they wanted to sell me a car and make even more money off me. I had to go back to them because no other car dealership would give me even close to the value of the car. I got to the point that I was willing to be out lots of money as long as this headache of a car was gone. We negotiated on a car and put it under contract. Then when I went to pick up the car, THEY SOLD IT TO SOME ONE ELSE! I looked at other cars and started taking the ones I was interested in to a mechanic. I discovered that all the cars that I had checked out had significant problems. Almost all of them had been in accidents and were poorly repaired. That wouldn't have been a problem if they were priced accordingly; however, all the cars on the lot are priced at the NADA clean and great condition price. The salesman even told me that one car (one that had significant parts replaced due to an accident) was a better deal because it had new parts!!!! All in all, I ended up about being out about $10,000 buying a $5000 car. They are only looking to rip you off. You're rolling dice when you buy from Car City.

I was referred to Car City. A friend of mine got an awesome car here so I wanted something similar. I was impressed by the huge selection of cars, but more than anything else by all the available information these guys gave me at the moment of the purchase. They reviewed with me the entire history of the cars, we took them for test drives, and they even allowed me to take it into my own mechanic. Great service! I felt they were being honest from the very moment they were willing to show me the title's history and let me take it to a mechanic of my own choice. Other dealers were pushy and were uncomfortable with it when I asked for that. Anyways, the bottom line is the car. I got a Nissan Altima 3.5 and I am so glad I did. The car have been running great (I have been with the car now for over 6 months), I can always trust it, and I know I will be able to sell it at a good price next year when I get my car upgrade. No doubts that I will go back to Car City to get a new vehicle. Also, I referred my aunt there. She got a Mazda 3 that have been fantastic for her and Car City gave me a thank you note of $100! So get your car there, you will be totally satisfied, and refer your friends. you will get cash =) Car City is awesome!!!!

I went in a few weeks ago on a Sunday morning to check a Honda Accord I found online. I went back in Monday afternoon when they were open and drove home in my new Accord! Chris was awesome and really took the time to see exactly what I was looking for. He showed me all the options I could afford without being pushy or trying to pressure me into a sale. I love my new car and the service I received. Thanks Chris!

But when you buy an "as is" 10+ year old car, even a detailed check list isn't a guarantee that you won't have problems, even soon after purchasing a car. The only thing that will save you in this situation is the car dealer's good sense. I found a 2001 Audi A6 on KSL that looked to be in great condition and was a fair price. I went to Car City to check the car and it passed my checklist. However, just over a week after buying the car, the blinker stopped work, even though the emergency lights was working, I looked online and seemed it was a normal problem with A6s, and to buy it online was $71.00. I called Car City and they told me to bring it in and that they'd take a look at it. Matt, the guy that sold the car talked if the owned and get a approval to fix it for free and I was very happy with their follow through customer service. A lot of dealerships don't care after they've made the sale.

After having some bad experiences with dealerships in the past, I took advice from a friend and tried Car City. So glad I did! A few weeks after buying my 2004 Honda Civic, the right blinker went out. I took it back in and Carlos had the in-house mechanic fix it right then and there free of charge. It’s refreshing to be treated with respect even after you’ve made your purchase.

I cannot agree with you more about them falsifying safety inspections. I purchased a car and we are still trying to get them to fix the issues that were supposed to be resolved before we picked up the car. Luckily I have them in writing and am getting to the point where it's about time to lawyer up. I feel that they are just pocketing the "safety inspections" money and doing nothing whatsoever. They even tried to tell me that inspections doesn't check for broken windshield wipers and burnt out tail lights. I have had to drive up there at least 4 times now for the same 2 issues and it still has not been resolved. They always say let me get your name and number and we will call you back. So far it has never happened, I have been the one that has always had to call them and then its like pulling teeth to get any info. Send in a letter to the BBB like I did that or lawyer up and take them to court. Now I know why so many people don't deal with the local small dealers. Next car will be with a real dealership so I don't have to go through this crap again.

I have bought two of my cars from Car City of Utah. Both times buying cars from them was the best car shopping experience I have encountered. I felt no pressure when browsing the cars like at other dealerships. I am very picky with the cars I buy and the sales men, Matt and Carlos, were very helpful in finding what I wanted. They listened to my needs and the price range I was working in. Whatever I needed they did it for me. Both my Mazda and Jeep were clean cars and very well taken care of. The experience of shopping for cars is very stressful but the Car City employees took all that stress away. They found financing for me with very reasonable rates after many others had turned me away. I then referred my brother to go there to buy his car. I would recommend Car City of Utah to anyone looking to buy a car and have a stress free experience.

WORST CAR COMPANY IN UTAH!!!! DON'T BUY FROM CAR CITY OF UTAH THEY ARE THE MOST DISHONEST CAR COMPANY AROUND>>>TOOK MY SENIOR CITIZEN FATHER FOR $9000+ ON A LEMON CAR THAT HAS ENGINE AND CHASIS PROBLEMS.



They lied about damage to the back of the truck until my sister found a 2" gap behind the seat below the window then they admitted that an engine had smashed into the bed, which in turn smashed into the cab of the truck causing the 2" gap. They promised new tires, new suspension, and then sued my senior citizen father when he didn't want the piece of junk. This is the very next morning!
