PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: Rowan Vocational Opportunities, The Arc of Rowan. ELDERLY: Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, Trinity Living Center. FAMILIES: Families First NC Inc., Family Crisis Council, Rowan County Literacy Council. SUBSTANCE ABUSE: Capstone Recovery Center. JOBS: Jobs For Life. Rowan County United Way, through the 211 call system, maintains records of all health and human service agencies in the 211 database. This 24/7 service links citizens to needs ranging from basic assistance to healthcare. Individuals and agencies can also use the internet to access more than 500 agencies and programs in the database.
