Originally from Ontario, Canada, Dr. Davis completed her undergraduate work at Trent University in Nursing in 2009. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse, before embarking in 2010 to Medical School. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Carolina in 2018. Dr. Davis loves to travel, spend time with family, run, eat and cook. She, along with her husband and four kids, are happy to call Salina home.

Originally from Newton, Kansas, Dr. Christopher Graber graduated from Newton High School in 1996. He attended Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas for his undergraduate education, graduating in 2001. A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, Dr. Graber completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Graber joined the Salina Women’s Clinic in 2009. He is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at KU School of Medicine-Salina. He also serves as the Assistant Clerkship Director for OB/GYN clerkship at University of Kansas School of Medicine - Salina. He is a board certified fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Pelvic Pain
A hysterectomy, or surgery to remove the uterus, is a very common surgery among women in the United States, second only to caesarean section. About one-third of American women will have a hysterectomy by the time they are 60, according to healthywoman.org. Reasons for performing a hysterectomy include: uterine fibroids, abnormal bleeding, pelvic support problems, such as uterine prolapse, chronic pelvic pain and tome types of female cancers.

Lie down with your feet slightly higher than your head, making yourself as comfortable as possible. If you can, lie on your left side. Drink two glasses of water (dehydration is a common factor in experiencing premature contractions). Time the contractions. If they get closer than 7 minutes apart and are getting stronger despite lying down and drinking water, please contact us or go to Labor and Delivery at Salina Regional Health Center.

Cervical Cancer
Don’t panic. While it doesn’t automatically mean you have cervical cancer, you may have some pre-cancerous changes or a condition that will require monitoring and possibly treatment. You may be scheduled for a colposcopy which is an office procedure that is an in-depth, five- to ten-minute Pap smear that can give us some important information about why your test results were not normal and what action that we may need to take.
Urinary Tract Infection
Call our office, Dr. Boo, Dr. Graber or Dr. Carroll immediately if you have a temperature above 100.4 degrees, heavy bleeding, severe pain, redness or streaks around the wound, signs of a urinary tract infection (pain, burning, frequent urination, or blood in the urine), severe vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation, or severe chest discomfort or cough.

From general wellness check-ups to minimally invasive hysterectomy surgery to welcoming your newborn into the world, Salina Women’s Clinic is committed to doing everything possible to provide the highest level of clinical care and personal comfort.
Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is often used to diagnose causes of abdominal pain or masses; to evaluate infertility; and to perform certain procedures like tubal sterilization. The advantages of a laparoscopy over traditional surgery is that the recovery time is often much shorter. During this outpatient surgical procedure, performed at Salina Regional Health Center, a small incision is made in or near the pubic hair line and navel and then gas (like carbon dioxide) is pumped into the abdomen and swells the abdomen so that the pelvic area can be seen more clearly.
