A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! It seems no one is competent at the Tyrone Blvd store except for the customer service manager, David, and the kitchen/bath manager Angela. Unfortunately, they can't run the entire store by themselves. Here’s what we went through:

Tried to purchase in-stock kitchen cabinets on March 10. Their "Specialist" spent 3 hours to draw up plans and incorrectly special-order 3/4 of the cabinets (which costs $1,000 more). He took an additional 2 hours to find the remaining 1/4 in-stock cabinets.

Then it took an additional THREE (3) hours to pay for the purchase. Here's how: Waited 30 minutes at the checkout counter before our turn came up. They told us to go to the Pro Service Desk. Waited another 30 minutes before an associate told us they were not open on weekends. Went back to the checkout counter who kicked us back to the Pro Service Desk. Daisy, a sweetie pie, called the Assistant Store Manager. The manager turned up with a surly attitude and rudely told us that the checkout counter should be able to check us out. Meanwhile, there were two other customers waiting at the Pro Service desk that he completely ignored. Bear in mind there was no one there to help them!

Went back to the checkout counter and spent an additional 1-1/2 hours to go through THREE different customer service reps who asked me to continue waiting each time as they checked out other customers.

It gets better. The remaining special-order cabinets were to be shipped March 24. Then changed to April 2. Then changed to April 12. Then you have to add another week for items to actually arrive at the store. Meanwhile, we decided to go to Lowes and purchased in-store cabinets for 1/3 of the cost and we picked it up within one hour.

As you can imagine, returning the in-stock cabinets was another nightmare at the checkout counter. We were not able to cancel the special-order until they actually arrive at the store.

So why the hundreds of 5-star positive reviews on their homedepot.com website? First, you get a chance to win $5,000. Second, you can only talk about the PRODUCT, not the store itself. And i quote: "...if you wish to share feedback with us about product selection, pricing, ordering, delivery or other customer service issues, please do not submit this feedback through a product review. Instead, contact us directly".
