St Pete Bicycle and Fitness

I called around the area looking for specific parts for my bike. This shop had the parts in stock. I didn't think to ask how much they were. I expected to walk in and buy the parts at the full manufacturers MSRP as is common in the industry. I was expecting the 50 percent premium above the MSRP. When I pointed it out the salesman he simply said "I don't make the prices. Do you want it or not?" I pointed out that they were readily available from the manufacturers website and asked him to check to see if the pricing was a mistake. He said "sorry" and again asked me if I wanted the product or not. As timing would have it another person entered the store with a bicycle and a crank in hand. He said "My son's bike was built by you guys and on his first ride the crank fell off." The other attendant quickly ushered the two of them to the back of the store.

Between the inflated pricing and quality of service I witnessed I would take my business to any other center in the area.

Excellent service, never an additional charge for installation of parts. My Giant bike is greatly favoured over my similar Trek, bought across the street.
