Ophthalmology
Dr. Hall graduated from the University of Mississippi and received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Erlanger Hospital and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee.
Macular Degeneration
Dr. El-Jabali is fellowship trained in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous, with emphasis on macular degeneration and diabetic eye care. Dr. El-Jabali brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice, utilizing the most modern technology in both surgical and medical treatments of retinal disorders.
Laser Eye Surgery
In 2008, she was awarded third place in the National Bloomberg Memorial Competition for Cataract/Implant Surgery by the American Board of Eye Surgery. She has also enjoyed participating in medical mission trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic and volunteering for the Alachua County We Care Physician Referral Network.
Cataracts
Dr. Ryczek joined the practice in 1999. He attended St. Petersburg College, the University of South Florida, and the University of Houston, graduating Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry. He has extensive training in primary eye care, including pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive procedures.
Cataract Surgery

Eye Exam
Bladeless laser surgery is the most technologically advanced option for cataract surgery patients, providing unmatched accuracy so the procedure is customized to your eye. The femtosecond laser can reduce the amount of astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery by using Limbal Relaxing Incisions (LRI). An LRI provides significantly clearer distance vision. However, you will still need glasses for reading or near vision. Patients must be candidates for this opportunity which may be discussed during your comprehensive eye exam.
