My dog Charlie has been going to downtown Doggy Daycare for 2 years and it is the best thing that ever happened for us. As soon as we pull off the highway on the Fifth Avenue he starts hopping around in the car chanting at the bit. When we get out of the car to go in he's dragging me to the door soon as we get in off he goes wagging and yapping. It is his favorite place on the planet. They wash my dog anytime I ask them to they do not cut nails there as someone stated in another review. The dogs are running constantly if they're high energy and that does tend to wear the nails down. People there are kind humane and love dogs they are also very knowledgeable. Their areas for small dogs and large dogs old dogs and young dogs they have constant supervision you never have to worry. The play yard looks just like your backyard would look if you had a whole bunch of dogs running around in it it is not pretty two humans but it looks wonderful to doggies. They have agility equipment shade when it rains they have mud they have pools that they put out for the dogs there's a lot of interaction.

First visit to Downtown Doggie Daycare and both of our dogs came out with kennel cough (vet confirmed 2 hours after leaving DDD) after a 4 day stay. My dog hasn't been sick in 4 years! As soon as he ran into our arms in the office (which btw, stinks like Marlboro Reds) he sounded like he was hacking up a lung. The owner and staff acted like he had never done that before. "Oh my goodness, if he had been doing THAT we would have called you!!" they said. Uh, huh. He JUST started coughing horribly upon seeing us?!?! Not bloody likely. Kennel cough may not be the easiest thing to control in a boarding situation, but please don't lie to us. Dirty, stinky, crawling with bacteria. We'll go elsewhere next time.

The Only place for my dog !

my dog has been attending daycare for a year. I could not be happier. I understand making an appt for a tour. Most people that have dogs realize when a new person comes to the door or in your house they bark. Imagine how loud that is with a PAC of 40 dogs. All the dogs are loose running playing interacting in each play group. My dog Quincy could not be happier on the days he goes each week. Tonja an her staff accept each dog an some are not welcomed in. The PACs get along an play well together. My dog is not locked in a cage for the day. My dog knows the days he goes to daycare an is sitting by the door-ready to go. When I pick him up he has a smile. I feel very comfy in the care he is receiving. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I'm a a fan of Downtown doggie daycare center

I'd NEVER take my dogs here

I came in to check out the daycare around 0700 and they would not show me around. I gave them a second chance today and the lady behind the desk said "absolutely not, I have all these dogs here. You wouldn't show your house to someone who comes unannounced". That was the while point of my visit. I wanted to see how the dogs were treated during the day when the dog owners aren't there. I love my dogs too much to even consider this place again.
