Tool Rental

I bought what i thought was a backup mower due to mines getting stolen but when i got home this mower just spilled out oil and shut off.I called/texted the owner for a replacement or $$$ back.His responce was he is just a middleman selling used mowers for someone else.I should have checked this place out before i spent my $$$.Anyone reading this don't shop there or rent his equiptment.

Do not go there! Waste of time and money!

If I had to say anything to anybody, not just my best friend, about this business, just one advice: Don't go there!

I just finished a bad experience with them today. I wish I had seen the one star warning the other customer left before me, but I went there, because they were near my apartment.

I needed to rent a pneumatic hammer and a compressor. First of all, he has just ONE of each in his shed. The hammer jammed a nail in it on the first day, when we tried to use it. I could not free it, because they don't give you the tools necessary to disassemble for these casualties. Since we can only work on the floor in the evening, it was too late to have it serviced right then. Lost the evening. Return to the store with it, the next day. It took an hour to fix it. Next evening: we shot about 40 nails, when the hammer just did not do it anymore. A muted swoosh was all we got. Another evening lost for nothing. Return the next day, to return the hammer, because the guy could not fix it. Unfortunately, my husband had to leave the next day on a business trip, leaving me with the 90 pound compressor sitting on the second floor. I called the owner of the rental shed and told him that I had trouble getting the heavy compressor out to him alone. He told me, it's OK, don't worry, I won't charge you. Bring it back when you can. I managed to get it back to him 2 days after that, and he charged me 100 bucks for having that monster compressor sit in my apartment doing nothing. His reasoning: Well, I got to make money to eat.

Conclusion: no working tools, no service, no honesty. Just plain customer rip-off.

Don't waste your time!

This place is awful. I rented from Sam and when I went in to rent this hand operated auger to clean out my drain sewer in the basement I told Sam that the tip on the auger wouldn't fit in my pipe and asked him to remove it. He pushed me to give it a try and so I did, knowing better, I tried it and the tip of the auger was to big the get through the goose neck in my basement pipes. I tried to take the tip off myself but couldn't . I asked Sam to refund my money and he refused. Customer service for this place sucks. He should have been willing to make my experience a good one but he wasn't. I would I will never go back and I don't encourage you too either.
