Sinusitis
Sinusitis is characterized by nasal congestion, facial pressure, cough and thick nasal discharge, A one-time sinus infection that does not resolve on its own can be treated easily; chronic sinusitis requires more diagnostic testing to allow an allergist to determine the underlying problem.
Primary Care
We are a specialist so if you are covered under an HMO plan that requires a referral, then you will need to have your primary-care physician send a referral over to our office.
Ear Infections
Hay fever, or seasonal allergic rhintis, causes itching, swelling, and irritation of the eyes, throat, and nasal passages causing cough, sore throat, sinus infection, ear infection, and itchy eyes.
Family Practice
Ruth grew up in Northeast Ohio. She knew she wanted to follow up in her grandmother and mother’s footsteps and become a nurse by the time she was in 4th grade. She graduated with her nursing degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2000. She started her nursing career as a school nurse and mission worker in Quito, Ecuador. She returned to Ohio and worked in a local hospital for a few years. She then decided to join the United states Air Force in 2003 and spent the next 4.5 years in active service working in the ICU unit at Scott Air Force Base. She then transitioned to the Air Force Reserves where she is currently with the 932nd Airlift wing at Scott AFB. She also has several years of experience in the cardiac cath lab. She returned to school and finished her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013. She worked for family practice until joining Dr Onder in 2021.
Emergency Care
Jaclyn Hey is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in allergy, asthma, and immunology. Beginning her nursing career in 2005, Jaclyn has worked in a variety of settings which included time in both the emergency room and urgent care. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 2013 and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a certified asthma educator.

Computed Tomography
If you have had any CT scans, labs or blood work done recently, feel free to bring a copy with you to show the doctor. Also, if you would like to request that your records be released from your previous doctor to our doctors, download and complete our Release of Information form and send it to your previous doctor so they can send your records to our office before your appointment.

Eczema
Eczema, or atopic dermititis, is a common skin condition that results in itchy red and dry skin. Not an allergy itself, eczema occurs commonly in people who suffer from asthma and food allergy.

Allergies
Yes, we do testing on children over the age of 12 months, if indicated. The type of testing that you have done on your child will be discussed between you and the doctor. Some kinds of allergy testing, such as food testing, is sometimes performed on children younger than 12 months.
