The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. Symptoms may include sensitivity to hot or cold, throbbing, swelling, pain when biting, or a bad taste in the mouth. However, the patient may not be aware of the problem until a dental exam is performed.

However, the patient may not be aware of the problem until a dental exam is performed.
X-rays
X-rays are a necessary part of the diagnostic process, and not to use them could lead to undiagnosed disease. Dental x-rays are safe, and we only take them when necessary.

Teeth Cleaning
Most insurance plans recognize the benefit of Preventative Care and cover Exams and Cleanings twice a year. Commonly, it requires little or no out-of-pocket expense to the patient.
