Her research interests include device development and innovation in endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease,pancreatobiliary disorders and medical education. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Boumitri is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
