Castle Rock Remodeling

We contracted with Castle Rock to replace 23 windows and siding. This was a big job, so we obviously spoke with a few companies before making our decision. Not only was Castle Rock the most competitive on price, but they offered no-pressure sales tactics which was much appreciated after speaking with other very aggressive companies. Both the window and siding installation teams arrived on time and were very professional. They took the extra time and resources to make sure the job was done right (replacing rotten boards, working around “challenges” in the design of our home, etc.). They always kept us up-to-date on progress and asked questions when needed. We are VERY pleased with both our siding and windows and would recommend Castle Rock to anyone doing a home remodeling project.

Castle Rock Remodeling replaced 2 very old windows in my house that have been neglected for way too long. The end result is amazing, rotten wood was replaced and trim was installed- all is now square and draft free. I look forward to getting the rest done.

I couldn't be happier with the work Castle Rock has done for me. I had windows done a while back and am now having new roof put on. They show up when they say, they clean up any messes and are all very professional. I would recommend to anyone.

I contracted Castle Rock Remodeling to replace 4 windows in my family room about a year ago and have noticed such a difference that I have decided to have them replace the rest of the windows in my house. They did a great job then and I'm confident my next eperience will be just as good.

Castle Rock replaced my 2nd floor windows and did a GREAT JOB! They look and operate like the same windows that I paid significantly more for a few years ago. I will definitely use them again.

Castle Rock Remodeling replaced my front door in our very old home- built in 1920 and was very impressed. Other companies said they could not do it because of the size and the trim, but Castle Rock had a door custom made and trimmed everything to match. My wife and I are very pleased.

I used Castle Rock Remodeling for my whole house of windows. They were professional throughout. The crew cleaned up and were gone by the afternoon. My wife and I are very satisfied with our new windows.

It was a pleasure dealing with Castle Rock for my new windows. There was no high pressure sales, I even took 2 weeks to decide and was politely followed up with after a week to see if I had any questions. The windows look great and the installation was seamless. To top it all off I received a phone call the following day to see how everything went- GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I had Castle Rock replace all the windows in my home a few months ago and I must say the experience was very pleasant, despite having my installation be rescheduled because of rain (certainly understandable). The crew showed up on the next scheduled day and were able to do all 9 of my windows in one day and cleaned up as if they were never there. Comparing the electric bill from last summer to this one was a delightful surprise seeing that my usage has gone down considerably saving me a lot of money. I noticed about a week ago my screen had a rip in it and was happy to find Castle Rock rescreened it at no cost. I would recommend Castle Rock to anyone without hesitation.

I stopped a check after the two final windows were not installed correctly. I had trouble getting them to return my calls so in order to insure they followed up, I stopped payment causing them to incur a $35 fee. I also incurred a fee.



After NUMEROUS back and forth confrontations and telephone calls, in the end I was threatened with having a lien placed on my home, threatened to be turned into a collection agency and further threatened to be taken to court if I didn’t pay the $35 fee with my remaining balance due. When I mentioned I would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I was told they had already called them. At the time, I knew the local office had closed for the day so I confronted them that they were not open to which I was told, ‘I have their cell phone numbers, we are good golfing buddies.”



I have 14 more windows to do in the future but I will not do business with this company again, nor will I recommend anyone else to them In the end, they squabbled over $35, claimed no responsibility for the delays or unreliability of the workers they had sent out to do the jobs. All along I had been patient and co-operative but in the end, I was threatened, strong armed, and disregarded as a valuable customer.



I paid the $35 along with the remaining balance. Not because I believed it was right but because I was bullied to do so. I incurred a fee in stopping the check. I could have asked them to pay for that too. I could have asked that in light of all the hassles that my time be better compensated for when I wasted my vacation time to be off work to be home only to have nothing get accomplished. I don’t believe the customer is always right but never have I ever dealt with a company that puts themselves above their customer.



In the end, the job was finally completed and done right -- but I believe the company is liable for the workers they hire and the work that is or isn’t done right. It should not be up to the customer to have to chase down the company and in the end get the message that I the customer have to pay for their and the worker’s mistakes. In the end, the company forgot about good customer service and cut off the hand the feeds them. I know this is one hand that will not reach into a pocket to put another single dime in theirs.





AND THEN IN THE MAIL TODAY, I RECEIVE A COUPON THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO SEND ENCOURAGING ME TO REFER MY FRIENDS TO THEM. WHAT PLANET ARE THESE GUYS ON???!!!

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Their professional sales rep came out and gave me an estimate that day. I placed my order and the windows were installed in less than 3 weeks. Now my house is warmer, I saved a ton of money with their great prices, and I enjoy my home improvements. I would recommend this company to everyone.
