G & G Floor Company

Used them several years ago and had a very good experience. Recently used them for a very large new floor (2000 sq.ft+) installation and had very poor results. Wood floor itself was installed very well but durability of finish is terrible. If it's Glitsa it is not the same Glitsa I'm used too. Owner was belligerent and blamed everyone from the designer to the tile man. I will never use them again. Beware on a larger job.

G&G Floor Co. Is the only company I would use to install or finish wood floors. This is my third experience with this company ,and I have no doubt when their done the floors will look beautiful. Bob the owner is always happy to answer any questions I have and is very knowledgeable about anything to do with laying or finishing floors .His employees are very conscience thru out the whole process.They are doing my floors right now and I am away , it's reassuring to know I have nothing to worry about,I know the floors will look awesome when done.Thanks Bob, Dave and the rest of the crew for your great work and professionalism . I had all of the hardwood floors in my home redone by G & G Floor Co. eleven years ago. The Glitsa finish continues to look beautiful and I am regularly complimented on their condition. I called G & G recently to ask about the availabitlity of a touch up kit to seal several small breaks in the finish (due to falling vases and the like...not from wear). Not only did the company founder Bob Grabowski personally come out to look at the problem areas but he then sent one of his workers out the very next day. That person took care of the areas I had originally called about AND also pounded in and filled with wood putty several nail heads that had been working their way up AND then did an artist brush-in-hand or spray touch up of all the affected areas.....AND AT NO CHARGE....and he was pleasant, courteous, and careful with his tools. Now that is customer service!!! I was very pleased when G & G first did the floors eleven years ago and am thrilled with their customer service eleven years later. I would highly recommend them.

We have used G&G floors for 20 years and I would highly recommend them. The bedrooms we had done initially years ago look just as beautiful today. We also had our living room, dining room, kitchen done at one time - our home is over 50 years old and the living room and dining room already had hardwood floors - however, the kitchen did not have hardwood floors. Our floor plan is an "open" one so it was important the newly installed floor "match" the 50 year old wooden floors in the dining room and living room. I am happy to report that you would never know the floors were not all installed at the same time. I have recommended G&G to many friends and family and they, too, have had a great experience.

In March of 2008, I engaged Bob and his team to refinish the oak floors in the kitchen and foyer of our home.

I gave Bob a key to our home and, along with my family, left on vacation to Florida. When we returned the job was completed and looked beautiful. Everything was in its proper place and not a single area of our home was out of order.



This was the second time in the last three years that G & G Floor Company has done work at our home. (They laid an entirely new oak floor in our family room in 2005.) As far as we're concerned they are the only floor company will ever hire. I strongly recommend calling G & g Floor Company if you desire quality work done by honest people at a fair price.

At the recommendation of a contractor, we had G&G refinish the first-floor hardwood floors in our new-to-us circa 1936 house. This was almost 25 years ago. They still look great. Within the last 5 years, we had the floors in the upstairs of the house refinished, too. Both times the results were gorgeous. This is a company where the owner takes real pride in doing the job right -- and doing it right the first time. I've just referred him to our son, who's bought his first house. So would I recommend this company? Absolutely.

After purchasing a new home several years ago complete with all hardwood floors, we experienced a complete failure of the floors due to faulty installation. G&G came to our rescue. Their unbelieveable staff, removed nearly 6,000 sq. ft. of old flooring -- with no damage to our home -- and installed new, absolutely flawless floors. We couldn't have been more pleased. We took out carpet in our dining room and discovered wood floors.We called G&G and had them put a new floor in our kitchen and refinish the dining room.Both rooms look awesome.Their workers are very neat and tidy too!!!

I love hardwood floors and when I moved, the floors in my new house were terrible. I called G&G Floors and they came out, were professional and did a tremendous job! They have this incredible finish called glitsa... WOW!!!! I would definately recommend them to everyone!
