Dr. LaRose is a Family Practice doctor working at our Pointe office. He is board certified in Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Michigan Academy of Family Physicians, Michigan State Medical Society, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and Wayne County Medical Society. He graduated from Wayne State University and completed a residency at St John Hospital in 1984 - where he was Chief Resident. Prior to coming to Cornerstone Dr. LaRose was Chief of the Department of Family Practice at Cottage Hospital and Director of Family Medical Center at St John Hospital. He has been recognized as Instructor of the Year at the Department of Family Practice for 1986 and 1997. Dr. LaRose is on the Board of Directors of Cornerstone and is our Secretary/Treasurer. He holds numerous committee positions including the Medical Executive Committee of Cottage Hospital and Chairman of the Medical Library Committee of St John Hospital. Dr. LaRose is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University and a Preceptor of Family Practice Residents at St John Hospital.
