Le's Nails of St. Clair

This place has to be a front. The people are incredibly rude. More concerned about phone calls and talking to each other in there own language. They filed THROUGH my nail twice with the dremel when getting a full set, not even an apology. I felt like crying cause it stung so bad. I don't even know if they stererilize the equipment properly so I was lucky I did not get an infection. Prices are outrageous for the service and quality. My nails kept popping off, and when I would come in for a fix not only did they charge me, they made me feel awful for them falling off like I was really hard on them. Never had a problem before, till I went here. Maybe it was cause the nailbed it was supposed to be glued to, was filed off!!!!!! Grrr.

I am typically very easy to please, however when I throw away $40 for a crappy mani-pedi that can't even last 2 hours, I'm not a happy camper. Had family events & places to be all week, so I thought it would be nice to treat myself for once. The polish started chipping off after less than 2 hours, & I had not done any tedious work or had my hands in water. I called that afternoon & left a voicemail with my name & number, however it was ignored. Called again 2 days later & the lady (who barely spoke any English) told me they didn't get any voicemail til right before she picked up the phone. How ironic. Her explanation was that no manicure would last 2 days, unless it was shellac & said that the color I chose was bright so it would come off easier. (Hmm, never heard that one before.) I had to get them re-done somewhere else 2 days later & she refuses to do anything about it. I would not recommend this place to anyone, ever.

The worst experience ever! I got a pedi and shellac manicure and I was clipped on my toes and finger and BOTH started bleeding!! IDK about you but for my I get a pedicure to enjoy the massage and getting calluses scrubbed with a pumice stone. There was NO scrubbing and NO massage! I could have painted my darn toenails at my house!! Then when I went for my SHELLAC manicure the owner claimed I never said I wanted shellac. I was already pissed because the 16 year old girl who did my toes made my bleed and I didn't get the treatment I thought came standard with a pedi. Like the last review said, the guy quickly slapped on the several coats it takes for shellac, but not without cutting me and making me bleed! Again, NO RUBBING MY HANDS! Just ridiculousness, apparently that doesn't com standard here. And the end result was awful. I got french and there was white paint on my fingers and the excess nail that was filed was not removed from under my nails. I left totally disappointed with what I paid $51 and an additional $2 tip (against my better judgement). I left. Sitting in my car for 15 min. I went back in and explained (calmly) the several things I was disappointed in to the manager. She continued to get an attitude with me and refused to give me even half my money back. After asking her how we can fix this situation I settled on making an appt. to have the re-do my mani. Just decided I'm not going, I don't want to sit through the crappy service and get attitude the whole time I'm sitting there. Lesson learned! Sorry for the long report, but I thought others should know!!!!

Our girls day here started with the guy doing my nails on his cell phone the entire time! We got pepicures first, and every time he wanted me to switch feet, he would slap my shin! He was so rude and vulgar (on his cell phone). We continue on the get our hands done and he hassle me because I wanted my hands a different color. I ended up going with just clear because he was rushing me and I was getting irritated. He didn't file my nails or do ANYTHING to the cuticles. he simply soaked them and rubbed the paddle on them so they would shine. He slapped on a coat of clear polish and took my money and didn't say another word.That was monday, it is now Wednesday and half of the clear coat has chipped off my nails, and I haven't even gone back to work yet! My friend had basically the same rude treatment, except her woman could not speak or understand english, PERIOD. My friend ended up leaving with a big gash on the side of her finger and chunky paint on her toes. while we were sitting down for our nails to dry, 2 more customers came in, one for a manicure, one for a pedicure. I watched this man use the same soaking bowl and same tool he just had out for me, on her, and played it off like he was waiting for her appointment!!!!! Completely disgusting. The woman working at least drained the water from the foot soak before letting the other woman sit down and get worked on with dirty tools. Completely horrible customer service and disgusting. I guess you get the garbage you pay for though...
