Pizzeria Neo Inc

Our family just loves Pizzeria Neo, we have visited many pizzeria's in the Chicago land area, and for us there is not many that come close to authenic Italian Pizza other than Neo's, Neo's is a true Italian Pizza as if you were in Italy, this is not your generic style American Pizza, the Pizza's are made for one or two people with fresh ingredients; when we get the Barata, cheese appetizer I was told to let it sit by my Italian cousins from Italy, to obtain its true taste which is at room temp, I honesty dream about it for days. If you speak Italian, I suggest you sit at the pizza bar where one of the owners is cooking and he will treat you as if you were family in his own kitchen.

We have eaten almost everything they make on the menu, and love it all.

Our only complaint is we wish the floor plan was bigger, so we don't have to wait to get seated.

Read an article about Neo's Pizzeria...said it was authentic pizza. Waitress said it was thin crispy crust. Paid an extra $4 for ingreds that other places would have charged $0.75 for much more. Skimpy ingreds, no flavor, soggy wet slippery crust, like it was not cooked enough. Atmosphere was stark, windows too big, need some kind of light buffer. $2.50 for small no flavor ice tea..looked like a powder mix. She came for a refill after we were finished eating. $11 for one glass of wine. The owner had the nerve to ask "how great was the pizza". I said absolutely nothing, he insisted I tell him it was wonderful. Could not...said nothing. Silence is golden. We were still hungry the pizza was small with very little substance. Don't waste our time or money. $30+ for pizza and a wine.
