Gardens of Malmaison

I had my wedding here this past October. While the place is absolutely stunning, the lady in charge Sarah is very hard to get ahold of. Never answers the phone and can takes days to respond to emails. Also the day of my wedding she was late, and when we needed her, she was no where to be found. And to top it off we put a $500 deposit down, to only get $300 back. They had some excuses that we burnt a fire in a fire pit in the garden(which no one in my party did-$100) and that someone broke a light in the parking lot. My husband and I were the last ones to leave the sight, and seen nothing broken. Another -$100. She then said she would watch the videos of the cameras & show proof that it was our party who started the fire. Yet, here we are, still haven't heard anything and it's been several weeks. I was very disappointed.

Atmosphere....that says it all! Imagine sitting by a large fireplace, in an old barn/house converted into a restaurant, you just finish your wonderful meal, and about to start eating the berry basket dessert. This is my favorite restaurant, in all of St. Louis....and the place I proposed to my wife.
