Service Masters AC & Heating

Using 2-10 Home Warranty service, we placed a service request in for our AC unit and Service Masters Air Conditioning Heating Inc was contracted out to provide service to our AC unit. Service Masters Air Conditioning Heating Inc was to contact us within 48hrs of the request to set up a time to fix the AC. After not contacting us within the 48hrs, we reached out and got in contact with Service Masters Air Conditioning Heating Inc to set up an appointment for Friday morning. I was told that they would service the AC, and any issues I would be contacted. I was not contacted on Friday, and that weekend returned to the house to find the AC not working properly still, no invoice or anything showing what service was performed, and no other signs that any work was performed, or that they would have to come back to finish the request like ordering parts and so on. I attempted to contact Service Masters Air Conditioning Heating Inc several times and left a voicemail on Monday to see what services were performed, and make sure they were aware the issue was still present and what the plan is going forward. On Tuesday, I did the same thing and no one has answered. The temperature in the area is high 90s to low 100s making the house really hot. I have contacted 2-10 Home Warranty and cancelled the service request with Home Warranty.

I was having some problems with my heater. It was working just not as efficiently as it was in the past. I contacted my home warranty company who then contracted with this company to come check my heater. Out of 3 guys looking at my heater it seemed only 1 had an idea of what he was doing. They couldn’t even figure out how to use a basic thermostat. After They were done I was told they would submit the paperwork and get back to me. Two days had passed and it became cold (32 in my house) I tried to turn my heater on expecting to have some heat and my heater had no power. I called them at 730am asking for someone to come out and fix my heater to the same working condition they originally found it in. I was told they would have someone out that day. By 1230 I still had not heard from anyone about coming out so I called again. The woman that answered the phone was unprofessional and extremely aggressive! She began screaming at me that my heater not working was not their fault and hung up on me. I tried calling back and my number was blocked. I sent an email looking for a resolution and never received a response. So, I paid them to come out and break my heater.

I believe it was Steve who first came out to service our heat pumps back in the Jan/Feb timeframe of 2016. One of the units was not providing heat at all. After two or three trips, due to the Home Warranty company having to agree/approve the replacement of the heat pump, it was finally replaced and the job completed rather quickly. We are now in the process of starting the same job on the other heat pump which has also stopped providing heat. Hoping the service is just as good this time around.

Steve came to our house and said that all we need to do is change our air filters and our air conditioning would work just fine. Over a week has passed along with many phone calls and our air conditioning still does not work. As a matter of fact, the last time I spoke to Mandy she hung up on me. I would not do business with these people ever again!

Steve is a great owner; he has done a couple of jobs for me on my AC units. Excellent First Class Service. I recommend him to all of my friends.
