Sunshine Playhouse

Our two year old son has been at Sunshine Playhouse for almost 1 year. He will be 3 this August and has recently moved from the Angels class to the Sunbeams class. I can't say enough good stuff about this school. All of the staff is helpful and the teachers are amazing. They have a laid back environment and have learned the best way to take care of and teach their kids from being around for 30+ years. Shortly after joining I had a small concern that I took to Marc which he addressed immediately. Our son has learned and grown so much in his short time here while having fun and making new friends. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a healthy learning environment where all the staff truely care about your child's well being.

My son has been going to this daycare for about 7 years. It's affordable and the care he receives is great. The staff is friendly and they get to know each kid personally. The best part is the summers. I never have to worry about the dreaded "I'm too big for daycare" because Sunshine offers so many fun activities. They usually go to the watermark every Friday and take another field trip somewhere else another day once they are school age. It keeps the kids active and entertained. I highly recommend them!

Wa a wonderful experience for him and he says he will miss his teachers and friends. was a wonderful place with great staff and leadership. Not only did he enjoy his time but I never had to worry knowing he was safe and well looked after. Thank you guys for looking after my little boy and keeping him safe,

My 7 year old daughter has attended Sunshine Playhouse since she was 4, and both of us LOVE IT! Many of the staff members have worked there for YEARS- as in over 15+ which is unheard of in daycares. It is more like a family than a business. The woman who does after school care for my daughter even attended there as a child. I love that history and sense of community.



They are very reasonably priced but still offer high quality child care. The owner is very nice and is always super patient with me and all my questions.



My daughter attends just for after school care now, and I have zero concerns or worries knowing she is getting picked up, given a snack and playing and having so much fun that when I arrive to pick her up she usaully asks me for more time to play. :) You can't put a price on that!

My son went to Sunshine for 3 yrs. When my daughter needed to go to daycare I was basically trying to find the cheapest rates, but my 11 yr. old son, Daniel, said, "Mom she has to go to Sunshine! It's the best!" and he wishes he could still go. All the teachers have either been there for years or since the place opened. They really know what they're doing and are so great with the kids. Mr. Mark, the director, is awesome, and all the teachers are very sweet. I would highly recommend sunshine to any parent meeting daycare. I really trust them.

I have two children one infant and a three year old. When we had just recently moved to the area we toured all the child care centers in Saginaw and it's surrounding areas. I have done as much research as possible on sites like http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/ . We have talked to people in the community at church, teachers in the school district, one of the local firemen etc. and everyone knows about Sunshine and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. We called to get information and the director anwserd all of our initial questions and scheduled a tour. We arrived and we liked the location right next to the park. My husband thought it looked small from the outside but they have a seperate building in the back you can't see from the parking lot that has the infant and toddlers. The building is old but kept well. The teachers seem very professional and we found that most of them have a CDA. Their playground is shaded by large trees and is very large. We are very picky about who takes care of our children, and I must say we are very pleased with Sunshine. My three year old comes home singing new songs,counting in spanish, she told me yesterday that our president was George Bush. She also said grace at dinner last night, which was very cute. We are so happy to have found a child care that is so special. We would pay double to get this kind of care for our children. We have been there for about a year now and just wanted to share our experiance.
