Consumer Energy

This company has to be the wrose that I have ever had to deal with. This is the only energy company in saginaw so you have no choice but to use them. But for everyone who is getting energy hook up for the first time or who have not ran into a problem with them be careful because they will steal from you. I went into the building and paid cash for my bill and recieved a paper (of what I thought was my receipt) when I got home I noticced there was nothing on the paper. I'm thinking maybe thier ink was out or something so I didn't pay any mind to it. Two weeks go by and I check online to see how much my next bill is to only find that the bill I paid for was still on my account. When I call they said they have no record of me paying and if I don't have the receipt I have to repay. I said you have cameras can't you see I was in on that day. They said no we can't use our cameras. So a employee of theirs have stolen my money and I now have to pay twice. I should have known something like this was going to happen because I know some of thier employees personally and they are not good people. BEWARE of consumer energy either make sure you get a receipt and keep it or write a check, NEVER CASH.
