Fuentes Gardening Service

I first called Monday to have the days reduced to one day a month. We haven't been happy with his performance as a Gardner for a while. On August 2nd I had a conversation with her husband where he would clean up a bushy area next to the fence. A month later is was never done and I ended up trimming it back myself. His work became half hearted and spent very little time mowing. I was told by Monica Fuentes that she would call me back at the latest Tuesday morning. She never called. I called her back on Wednesday to cancel the service. At no point did she tell me about any billing issues she had with my account. Wednesday evening she called back saying he already mowed the yard (on a day I asked him not to come)and that I owed them money. Not only that - I was suddenly 6 weeks behind. Monica stated that I had not paid for all of August and that they were going to charge me for the month of September also. She became rude, and screamed and yelled at me. I then gently reminded her that I have security cameras all of our property and that if she wants the footage of me handing her husband his CASH money on August 2nd I would be happy to supply her with that. Monica then screamed at me "I'M NOT TRYING TO SCAM YOU!". Which you can be sure you're being scammed. Also that when I got home and my lawn was mowed on a day I asked him not to I was not happy about. Her attitude totally changed to a sad life with 3 businesses and many problems. She was trying anything to get me to pay up. I told her I will pay for one day - I always pay for work but that I would send a check/money order. We need a paper trail now. I wonder how many other people she has tried to shake down for money. Say that they didn't pay when they did and they have no recourse. Older people who may not remember if they paid - in cash. People who don't have security cameras with nothing other than their word against Monica's.
