Amtrak

I travel Amtrak quite often to Salt Lake City; Reno; & Pasa Robles. I love to travel by trian! I recently went to Washington DC with friends, we drove there from Sacramento to attend the Presidential Inauguration 2017! On the way back to Sacramento I took Amtrak from Washington DC to Chicago via 30 Capitol Limited, then I switched trains to 6 California Zephyr to Sacramento. Love that train. I have reserved the SuperLiner Rooms, they are nice for long or short trips if you are wanting to be alone to get work done. However, the coach seats are pretty good seats, with lots of leg room. Have a fun trip/enjoy the many views along the way! Travel when it's snowing is beautiful and serene!

We took the Capital Corridor to Jack London Square and had a great experience. The train was on time and we sat in the first car that happened to have reclining seats with footrests. The gentleman that worked the cafe was very friendly. The conductor was helpful and friendly. We love getting to San Fran by train
