Founded in 1906, Rutherford Hospital is a nonprofit facility that offers a range of inpatient and outpatient care services. It is a 140-plus-bed acute care facility that administers several cancer outreach programs. The hospital provides case management, occupational medicine and home care services. Rutherford Hospital s emergency department offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It provides mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, pharmacy and behavioral health services. The hospital also manages Rutherford Plastic Surgery & Spa, which offers services that include facial rejuvenation and laser and massage therapies. Rutherford Hospital operates Rutherford Orthopaedics, which provides sports medicine, fracture care and arthroscopic services and joint replacement and hand surgeries.
