Lucy's Mexicali Restaurant

"I'll take those 2 plates off, but you don't ever come back here again. I don't want to ever see you in here again" - THIS from the MANAGER of Lucy’s June 5, 2016. We had a party of approximately 20 the day after my daughter's wedding in Ruidoso, they refused to sit us together - "we don't push tables together". After sitting down, we saw them push TWO sets of tables together in another section for others. Then, told we couldn’t sit in a section because “there’s no server assigned” – there were already people in the section, being served. They finally let 14 of us sit in that section. Then . . the meals were brought out a little here and there, with two of our party having to wait over an hour to get their food, then it was wrong. Then my daughter asked to talk to the manager –the manager came over. My daughter attempted to calmly discuss with her our dissatisfaction with how we’d been treated and that’s when the manager uttered the words I started this review with.

Great food & large portions.....good prices. We like better than Casa Blanca although decor isn't as good. We'd rather have good food. Great green chile sauce. A bit slow.

Service slow, food mediocre, ambience...sports bar

Well to start off I asked my server what she recommend as far as a margarita and she said and I quote "none of them are really good". Disappointing me seeing signs on the walls of the restaurant voted best margarita in town 12 years running. Second my food took a good hour and half to reach my table. My steak was over cooked and I had to ask a different server for refills on my water. My server never asked if the food was okay and I did not see her but twice the whole night. Last but not least the manager was screaming at the top of his lungs at the wait staff in the front of the house which in my opinion is very unprofessional. I do not recommend this restaurant!
