Texas Jumping Beans

Well we had the misfortune of have my daughters B-day there last Sunday (10/23/11). It was a horrible experience to say the least. The floors are not padded and are covered with ground in candy and food. We were only there for 10 minutes when a bigger kid pushed one of our group out of a jump where she smashed her face on the non-padded floor lost a tooth. We also had other problems with a slide where big kids seemed to go all at the same time, with no regards for the smaller kids, and the management just did not seem to care. Employees were 2 high school kids and the owner. We also asked management several times about kids having food and drinks and candy in the inflatables. Again nothing was done. 2nd issue of the day, we had another in our group get hurt and had to call 911. The manager took note this time and came to our location only to cover his bu!!. (Child is fine). My daughter showed me several big holes inside the inflatables where she could stick in her foot. Other kids seem to be happy making the hole bigger and bigger. Either way it is up to you, we will not be back! Oh yea and when we went to settle up the bill… we were over charged! Go figure way to run a business don’t see you making it past this year…….

We ran across the past review looking for the address for Texas Jumping Beans. We have had three parties at Jumping Beans over the past 4 years. In every case we recieved an email that states that when we arrive for our party all items will be collected up front and the kids will be checked in and start playing immediatley.



We were also told that 30-45 minutes after arrival the party room is cleaned and reset and all of our stuff will be moved up stairs for us at that time. I am actually refering back and forth to the email we received about an hour after our party was booked (we are having our fourth party on August 22nd.). The first line in the email even says in ALL CAPS AND BOLD LETTERS 'PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE EMAIL SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION".



From reading the previous review, its obvious that Holderx4 didn't read his confirmation email.



We will have parties at Tx Jumping Beans til our kids want to go somewhere else. My kids are 9 and 6. The 9 year old may want something else only because he is getting a little older now.



We have always had a great time and have always felt we got an excellent value.

They are the cheapest in town is what Bruce the manager says. In first talking with him he is very defensive. The place is very caotic, children are running all over the place. There is no order to the whole concept. You think you have the party room for 2 1/2 hours. But you don't even get to your room until 40 mins after you arrive, then if you want to order pizza you have wait another 40 mins for it to arrive. They kick you out of the room with no help from their supposed hosts. We didn't even have time to cut my daughters cake. And when I went to the manager, he is very defensive and has the email up stating everything. I could tell that he has to defend his way of doing things on a daily basis, because he is very script in what he tells you. My advice is go some where else, Pump It Up is even better. Or if you chose to have your party here, order the pizza the secound you arrive and order more that what he says. He told us 6 pizza's whould be more that enough, and I told he no, I want to order 10. He thought that was too much, but I still ordered 10 and we didn't even have 1/2 a pizza left.
