WARNING: they will bill you for visiting a hospital!



They call this place a "clinic", which to me, means a doctor's office.

The building is full of different doctors in different offices. It's not a hospital, it's across the street from the hospital.



I went for a regular doctor visit. No medical imaging, no medicine administered, no diagnostics or testing done, no prescription.



They submitted 2 claims to my insurance.

1 for the doctor, no problems with that claim.

1 for the "facility charges" of $109. The description and provider are blank in the bill.

-Cigna will not pay it because it is a hospital facility charge towards my deductible.

-Scott & White says that they charge $109 for me to be in the building, since it is a hospital-owned facility and the doctor does not pay to use their facilities.
