Very knowledgeable clinicians in all Endocrine issues. My appointment was with a NP. She spent time with me, asked alot of questions and reviewed my entire health history. She gave me great medical advice and had a wonderful bedside manor. I appreciated her honesty and positive attitude about getting my diabetes under control. Dr. Reed and this team are the best in the area

Excellent initial consultation w/Eileen, CNP, and I’ll be seen by Dr. Munoz in a follow-up appt. This practice has a wealth of knowledge to share, and highly-educated, positive, conversant staff members to help their patients. Be pro-active; bring your list of questions w/you IN WRITING to your appt., and bring a pen w/you to write down replies to these questions. Keep a Notebook, as this practice is involved in your day-to-day health, and their goal is to help you live well, live longer, and live with Diabetes. Follow instructions. It does me no good as a patient to pay to see an MD, a CNP, or a PA— if I’m going to ignore their advice. Make your follow-up appt. when you’re in the office. Plan to WAIT, patiently, at the front desk as they’re consistently busy! You’ll receive a print-out of the date for your next appt., so whatever you do, KEEP your appts. w/this practice!! CALL the office 2 full days ahead to CONFIRM your appt., as there’s a fee for non-cancellation. Do NOT wait if you have a conflict; CALL to re-schedule, immediately. When YOU treat your Health as Critically Important, your CNPs, MDs, Lab Techs, PAs, RNs— everyone within your realm of contact—KNOWS you’re serious!!! As you AGE, bring someone with you to assist you if you can’t remember everything, or can’t write things down quickly enough! Ask for HELP— from a neighbor, a friend fr church, a retiree in your area — anyone who has a bit of time on their hands. Your 1st appt. will require being 1 hour early to complete allllllll the paperwork accurately, and specifically. From this point forward, you must be 15 minutes early for each appt., and stay at least 20 minutes following lab work to confirm your follow-up appts. GOOD HEALTH REQUIRES WORK, AND TIME. If you’re not willing to devote either to your own healthcare, this practice is not for you.

I have been going to Dr. Reed since my diagnosis with Type 1 diabetes. He is fabulous. Yes, sometimes his office has some kinks scheduling appointments since he is in such high demand. Atlanta knows he is the best. If it weren't for this office, I would not be as healthy as I am after 20 years of insulin dependent diabetes. I highly recommend Dr. Reed and his staff to anyone.

Right now I feel like giving them one star. But I'll give them two because when I have appointments with the doctor I like, it's fine. Although getting said appointment is difficult, and must be months in advanced. Then right before it, they cancelled my appointment with my doctor!!!! Thanks....and I don't like meeting with the nurse practitioner. Now just make sure if you order your diabetic supplies from an online company it will take them weeks, if ever to figure out how to send approval to your insurance company. Avoid here if you can, although lately it seems like every doctor sucks and you have to call a million times and annoy them to no end to get them to do what you need.

I started going to this practice and over all they are good so far, however they are HORRIBLE with follow ups!! I had blood work taken and had to email them several times to get my results! Then i didnt even get my results! I was told "we still need to go over the results and get back to you". WTH?? The nutritionist is very nice, but i don't feel she is that experienced. She gave me a booklet and said to get the information from that. Hell, i could of "googled" the same thing. I'm sure if THEY needed any medical care and needed to know whats wrong with them it would be done! Guess it's time to get a "second opinion"!
