Manor on the Square

I have direct experience with Manor On the Square. I want to point out to anyone reading these reviews that I have heard many of the things stated in the review by chainsaw123 said WORD FOR WORD out of the mouth of the Executive Director at Manor On the Square. The Executive Director is responsible for everything that goes on within that facility. In my opinion, chainsaw123's review should be considered more of a sales brochure than an unbiased experience review of Manor On the Square.

I absolutely loved manor on the square assisted living home. My mom was there and she received the best care I could have asked for. She needed extra care as time went by and we were not charged for a lot of little things that ALL other facilities in that area do charge for. Our cost to keep her there was known from month to month. No surprise charges.



They do not prescribe ANY medication. They follow each residents own doctors orders. As a matter of fact, they are required by Georgia law to make sure that each persons medications are always available and administered as written by the doctors. There is no way that anyone can be overmedicated.



When I was looking for a place to care for my mom, I went to all of the facilities in that area and Manor on the Square was the ONLY one that had an all inclusive price so I would know up front what our cost was going to be. All other places had a seperate charge for every little thing they did for the residents. There was a charge to help them get dressed, undressed, take a shower, brush teeth and the list goes on and on. Almost every other place I visited had a stench of urin as you walk in the front door. NEVER have I gotten that smell at the manor.



I would not hesitate putting any of my loved ones in the Manor on the Square nor would I hesitate putting myself in there when needed. I give Manor on the Square a 5 star rating as the BEST place you can put your loved ones. They let your parents, grandparents or anyone placed there live with dignity and comfort while trying to keep the residents minds stimulated and promote social interaction between all residents. This is the one place that I can honestly say cares for my family and loves them just as much as I do.
