BEWARE IF YOU RENT FRON CROWN. Please take a look at all the YELP reviews; BBB reports and just ask around. They are good in the beginning, but if you decide to move they take all of your security deposit. READ THE LEASE IN DETAIL. It is set up so that you can never get out of it. In our case they took us for $2000 (and the house was already sold when we move). They are equal opportunity screwers. They take from Owners, renters, you name it. Misty Withers is the ring leader. She sends out these politcally correct emails that are basically screwing you. Krystal Perkins is her second in command. Then there is Brandi who has no balls and when things get tough she put you in touch with Misty and Krystal. Learn from me...

I hate that I had to leave one star. I haven't had to leave many bad reviews. However, this is important that I leave this review. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! AND RUNNNNN and fast as you can.



This will not be the only place that I leave a review. Anywhere that I can leave it I will. My husband and I stayed at one of there properties for three years. ZERO missed payments and zero complaints from neighbors or owner.



From the time that we moved in threw spoke with multiple different people. It seems like they're trying to create an online business. So, they won't have to deal with tenants in person or over the phone. But before I get to far. Let's begin with the walk through.

I currently rent from a homeowner who uses their services and I have NEVER dealt with such a disorganized management company in my life. Our dishwasher leaked all over the floor and it took them over a YEAR to replace it and it wasn't because the owner didn't want to pay for it - it was because they had to send someone to look at it THREE times after they didn't seem to have a record of the fact that the first two technicians said it needed to be replaced. The fact that it was finally completed only happened because I put in a handful of maintenance requests, phone calls, and emails until something was finally done.



From there, we wound up with a leak in our bathroom that caused water damage on the ceiling. Instead of sending someone in to fix the source of the problem, they simply had someone come spray paint over the stain.



Upon renewing our lease, I requested a full carpet cleaning and back screen door placement (since they would have had to do it if new tenants moved in) and the owner easily agreed to the stipulations. However, four months later, NOTHING has been done. I have sent a long trail of emails and made phone calls to the property manager (or should I say, managers, because we have probably gone through 4 or 5 of them in the last year) and no one seems to be able to tell me why it's so difficult to have our simple requests met.



If you are an owner looking for a management company, DO NOT HIRE THEM. There is no continuity with the staff and nothing gets done.



We are good tenants. We take care of the home, don't cause neighborhood disturbances and have NEVER been late on our rent in two years. I would think that we would be the types of tenants you'd want to keep happy, so do yourself a favor and look for another company.

We have been living in a Crown Property for over 3 years now and have enjoyed the experience. We are moving and hope to find another Crown Property to rent again. The agents are helpful and responsive. Our requests for home repairs are always dealt with in a timely manner- our AC went out last July and they had someone out to look at it within the hour. I would recommend using Crown to anyone.

I have been working with Crown for more than three years and my experience with them is excellent. They have a group of professionals that handle all your concerns about rent and manage your property in the most appropriate, way giving you peace of mind. I highly recommend their services.

Read the lease carefully before you consider signing. Here are some of the highlights:



-Management doesn't have to give any notice before entering.

-Any Realtor has unrestricted access to the property via a keybox during the last 60 days of the lease without any notice. And if anything is stolen during a showing,

the tenant agrees to hold the management "harmless".

-Storing a gasoline in an approved container puts the tenant in violation of the lease

-Management can remove any vehicle parked on the grass, sell it, and keep

the money from the sale

-Management will not tell you if there is a home owner's association or not

-If rent is not received by midnight on the 1st of the month, there is a 10%

fee. Use of the US Mail is "at own risk". This is regardless of weekends and

holidays.

-There "may be" a check processing fee. Nothing in the lease about what this fee is, just that there may be one.

My family and I just moved in to a property managed by Crown. They've been great every step of the way. The sign-up is all automated. The townhome was in superb condition at move-in. Communications with everyone at Crown have been friendly and positive. It's been a very good experience so far!

New Improved Website!!!

I know there are some negative remarks here, but Crown has recently made some wonderful changes to their website, making it easier to navigate, find info you need easier & made my experience with it much better! And the customer Service is now just that, good service with me the customer in mind.

The entire Crown team has provided the best service

possible for us. We rented our in within one month of Crown listing it and they have great ever since.
