Classic Kennels

Great place to board your dogs. We've been going here for several years now, our dogs are excited to see the place when we pull up.

I had my Black Lab here for a total of 4 days. When we picked her up there was a strong smell of urine. I just figured maybe because it’s such a busy place and there are lots of dogs it was "normal". Upon driving her home the smell and odor was overwhelming... Once I got her home, I did a overall inspection to find out she has dried up urine all over her coat. It looks like she was sleeping and laying in urine for days!!! My dog NEVER sleeps in her own urine or poop and sleeps in a crate every night. She is well trained and I am horrified at the thought she was subjected to such filth. Initially I asked for a walk through of the facility because you never know what to expect from some of these boarders but I was told they do not give tours and since my Veterinarian had recommended them I thought it would be fine. Man was I wrong, I have since contacted my Veterinarian and they told me they had not heard anything negative but were shocked to hear that my dog reeked of urine and stated that should not EVER happen. They have taken Classic Kennel off the referral list and will no longer be sending referrals their direction. When I spoke with the kennel on the phone I was told she does not know how that could have happened and they offered a free dog wash if I wanted to take her back. Of course I declined. I hope this helps, do not subject your pet to this place. P.S. If there was a negative star rating, I would give it to this company.
