The State exams are out and my child score a Level 3! Did not hit 4 this time but I am proud! Usually she scores 1 and 2, after only ONE year at this school, she scores a 3. Still very happy!



Love the PTO organization as a watch dog!

Those who have bad to say... say nothing now. The school has proven itself time and time again! So happy to see that parents are posting good reviews about the school. I am so happy I made this choice.



One change I would like to see is the uniform color. Hoping the administrators will reconsider changing the uniform colors. Otherwise... I am happy and prode of my child.

I AM A PROUD PARENT!!!

Recently I considered doing a review. This is after I took the time during my summer 2014 vacation to review my child's past work at RCA. I now have two children in the school. My daughter in Grade 7 is doing well and I am happy. However, my greatest concerns were for my son who is in the 6th Grade. My 6 grader has been with the school all his life... from age 2. His academics foundation is exceptionally strong and now that he is in Grade 6 and my daughter is doing her second to last year at the school, it would only be fair to write a review about the school. I feel that I have enough knowledge to write and my review would he honest and balance. It is so sad that I never knew there was a place for reviews all along until recently. Whoever start this fire... thank you! We are now aware that we can write a review. To those of us who are not tech savvy!



Rosedale Christian Academy is located in Rosedale, Queens, NY. It is an excellent school and we are so glad that we made the decision to put our children within a Christian environment. Not only are they receiving a top notch education with great and caring teachers -- who really really and truly care in my opinion, but they are learning to establish themselves on the foundation of God's word. I love the fact that they do devotion in the mornings and at evenings also. They also have chapel time two times per month. Due to the busyness of life, I can never go to church as I would like to... thus not taking them there.



The facilities are top notch, the recently acquired facility impress me as a multi-million dollar facility that has been recently renovated - and still under renovation in some parts. The Arts and Music Program are incredible and taking shape. Their last Christmas show was out of this world ... out - of - this -world!! Graduation was equally lovely! Just a fantastic well-rounded school -- where great emphasis is placed on academics.



And now there is a PTO with much more parent involvement which has been refreshing as well. I would not have my children anywhere else in all of New York. My 7th Grader has hit the upper 3 and mostly Level 4 on the State exams, even on the Common Core that everyone is complaining about that it is too difficult for students.



My children's report cards cannot be better and what I missed came full circle on the State testing! The NYS Dept of Education will not lie!



The Schools are going TABLETS! Yeah!!! They are already doing Smartboard and computer. This makes the school a tech savvy school! Loving the program!!



Highly recommend the school -- preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary and now Middle school. My children have been through the entire systems. Would recommend the school! Thank you RCS and RGAP (preschool).

My child will be entering 8th Grade. I am so happy that I choose this school. He started with the school in 5th Grade. His first year he pass the state exams with a perfect 4. Every since he has been in the upper 3 and for the three years at this school he has scored two 4s and one upper 3 all all the exams.



Communication is improving and we are happy.



The school is going technology. I am happy that they now have Smartboard, Wide screen computers and the students will be using Tablets. I am so happy.



For the most part, those parents who complained and simple just complainers and trying to find something to complain about when there is not really anything to complain about. Thin skin and touchy parents will always try to find something to make others look bad... and so with any other business.



Overall I am happy! And so are most parents I spoke to. Good school and I would recommend this as a good school to any parent.

Before we decided to put my son in this school in June of last year, my husband and I did our homework and have interviewed several schools before we decided to go with this one. The teachers and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. They're good with kids. The school has nice classrooms and everything is kept clean.I exceptionally like the smartboard setting and the computers are nice - wide screens for visual. I was so worried that my son would never get used to the school and now, after one school year of being at RCA, he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up everyday. I feel very happy and safe to have my son here. Actually many of my coworkers' children have and still attend this school and the parents are very happy with this place. I'm expecting right now with my second child and I'm planning to send her to the preschool later as well. I'd highly recommend RCA to anyone with young children. I was more than pleased with my child's report card at the end of the school year. Finals markings were in the 90s even though he just started at this school. His grades are usually in the 60s. I am feeling so blessed right now to have known the school. Thank you staff. My child is in Grade 6. The school is tough on academics and discipline and some parents do complain but I have no worries with that. Someone must be held accountable for his/her action. Academics is most important to us and that is what we are getting here. Good academics! Thank You... I am satisfied! Highly recommended school.

Concerned Parents to all the Naysayers... (to those who have bad to say....) I recently heard conversations that were not very nice... and I being a justified parent would like to address this.

What did you expect when you went to a Christian school?? Rosedale Christian School is one of the best schools in The Rosedale section of Queen! It's so very sad your parents were not more involved in your education. When parents do not get involved in their children's school activities or instruct their children how to behave in school then they become ignorant about their children's needs and conduct. Those who have nothing but bad news, look in the mirror people do not blame Rosedale Christian school for your shortcomings. The owner likes to say "let God take care of it" but I rather to address the matter myself because I know the good of this school. I have nothing good news about this school. My child made it into Prep for Prep and I am one happy parent! If you do not have good to say... then don't say bad and be very ungrateful and bad! Vindictiveness is NOT GOOD AND SOME OF YOU PARENTS WHO HAVE BAD TO SAY SHOULD STOP ALREADY! I am one happy parent and highly recommend the school. Stop already you bad parents who are saying NOT NICE THINGS! You should be grateful instead of being BAD!



Prospective parents... THIS IS A VERY GOOD SCHOOL. Don't believe everything you hear! From a very happy yet CONCERNED PARENT! My child is in the 4th Grade and I am happy! Nothing but good news!

We love this school! My family and I share the same opinion that this is a good school. My child is a student in the Rosedale Christian School/Academy which is located at Francis Lewis location. I am pleased so far with her academics strides.



The McGraw Hill curriculum is just what the doctor ordered! This curriculum meets the Common Core standard and above which helps my child to excel.



My child is coming from the Public School and boy am I glad I moved her? She was getting a 1 on the State exams and now she is a upper 3! Next year I am hoping she will score 4 since this is why most parents are moving their children there to score better on the State exams. Even with the Common Core the students are still score exceptionally high on the exams.



Communication is very good at this school but academics is NUMBER 1!!!



For most part, staff and faculty is very respectful and I am happy with that.



Technology is advancing there also and the teachers are very good.



I would recommend parents to this school. Very very happy and so is my child!

Great school with lots of connections to help students excel.



My child was accepted in the Prep for Prep program. 6,000 students applied and out of that only 125 were accepted. My child was one of the 125. With only one year with the school, this is certainly a miracle! My child is coming in from the Public School knowing nothing and to make it in one year to Prep for prep is nothing short of a MIRACLE!



Great school!



Parents who complain went to the school for other reasons other than academics which would help their child excel. Discipline is top priority and those students who plan not to behave, their parents will always complain.



If you are seeking good academics for your child and decide to comply with rules and regulations, then this is the school. They are strick on academics and discipline that's for sure!

From the get-go on Monday, the child started crying! When the Principal inquired why he was crying, he told her he was not able to do the Grade 1 work. At that time, the Principal called the parent and asked for a meeting to discuss the matter.

The mother came in three days later – THIS WAS HER FIRST MEETING WITH THE SCHOOL. We had three meetings within one day with an effort to resolve the matter. We told the mother that the child was not able to keep up with the Grade 1 work and we could move the child back for academic development and move the child back to Grade 1 later… but she refused. Instead SHE CLAIMED “I WAS A GIFTED CHILD AT AGE 4 AND I WAS IN GRADE 1 AT AGE 4”!! We said this may have been so but it does not necessarily mean her son is the same – rationally speaking! Her argument was she cannot see her son going back to Kindergarten level and so she is taking the child. Upon her adamant stance, the Principal wish her the best and told her she hoped she finds a nice school to place the child. THIS WAS WITHOUT ANIMOSITY! This was an honest wish… but the mother was too malevolent to even see this. The conversation we had was civilized, no shouting no fighting! We are at a loss to find out that this mother who HAD NEVER TOOK THE TIME OUT TO ATTEND NOT EVEN ONE INTERVIEW COULD COME HERE AND LEAVE SUCH MALICIOUS COMMENT!

Her incoherencies about other matters are unrelated! Those matters she had no business meddling in and are not true. Any intelligent person can figure out here that this is all MALALIGNMENT and all this MAZE was intentionally PLANNED DUE TO WHAT SHE CALLED “TOOK AWAY BUILDING AND KICK OUT HER CHILD FORMER PRINCIPAL.” It’s obvious that she is confused and know NOTHING or than what was planed by her and whoever else! - MORE TO COME!

Ms Brown is NOT the owner of THIS school, she lease the building from its legal owner! Neither did she “kicked” out the child’s previous principal since Ms. Brown is NOT THE OWNER OF THE BUILDING! When Ms. Brown found out that the building in question was going for sale, she told the previous school principal and encouraged her to buy the building before anyone else could. It never worked out and someone else purchased it… not Ms. Brown!

A thriving school in EXPANSION MODE… HOW is this “spreading thin”??? What does this assertion has to do with a child not able to manage his or her class work?

This parent had EVERYONE THINKING… What are her true intentions? Was this intentionally planned due to BAD FEELINGS THAT SHE MENTIONED HERE AS MS. BROWN “KICKED” OUT YOUR CHILD’S PRINCIPAL?

The BIG question is, why did she have her child there if the building was so run-down until she transitioned him to us? And, was 3 days enough to formulate an impression about the school when she has NEVER EVEN BEING TO THE SCHOOL? She came for the meeting and stayed only an estimated TEN minutes sitting at a table.

Please let us know YOUR TRUE MOTIVE HERE – is it really the fact you are upset that your child was not able to be retained in Grade 1 or is there a PERSONAL VENDETTA? Please let us know!

My child is in Pre-K and she is excelling! She knows her colors, days of the week and months of the year and she is only 2! Also, love the fact that she can praise the Lord with any adult and sings Christian songs with the best of us. She has also has great manners. I would highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking for a Christian based school that will teach your children well above their levels. Oh did I mention that my little girl has the ability to reason. It is remarkable! People always ask me if she is 3 going on 4 and always comment on how well she speaks and writes (yes writing a few letters). Also the staff is nice of course to the children but also to the parents. They are always courteous and understanding. My daughter will continue at this school until she can no longer attend.

My son is featured in the video clip! I was thrilled to view this.



I am also a proud parent of RGAP. The educational curriculum is the best out there. I also plan on having my son continue his higher education at RGAP.



The teachers are great and now with Mr. John teaching higher education should excel the credibility overall of the school.



Anyone wishing to sent his or her child to RGAP should not reconsider - go ahead, this school is recommended.

My child is now at this school and she is doing great! I can attest to the fact the the teaching is really exceptional!



My child is still in Pre-K. I am happy that RGAP now extend it's curriculum to Elementary. Since I am so very pleased with the service at RGAP, I am planning on having my child continue to Elementary. I heard from good sources that their Elementary students are now reading at Grade 3 and 4 levels! Great!!!



Based on my analysis of my child's progress, I would recommend this daycare!



Another Satisfied Parent

My child started with this institution way back from it's inception -- that was when this school was home-based. My child has since graduated to higher learning and is doing exceptionally well!



She did not start at the class of her age when we first started at higher learning -- she was so advanced for her class that they moved her to two classes higher.



My child knew so much in reading, spelling, math and most of all was morally trained and could co-work and live with all students of her age and above. We had no problem with her and other students, she was so well mannered and show very good tolerance, respect and attitude towards her teachers and peer alike.



Most of all, she got from RGAP what we could not give her because we did not have it... and that was loving God. She sings songs to God and recites Bible verses -- we were literally shocked. She knows how to pray and could witness to anyone about loving God and others.



I am not sure if RGAP still does the Christian aspect of the care service anymore, but for those who like good Christian values, then RGAP is the place for your child!!!



I highly recommend this institution to anyone who would like its services.

I would definitely recommend this daycare to whoever required its service.



My daughter Crystal attend this daycare until she graduated to higher learning. She is now Class President, Honor Roll Student and Student of the Month several times over.
