like any public office it is hard to find out any information with out walking in the door, i arrived waited for over and hour paid for my license and then they lost it in the mail, now i am having to return to do it all over again, the problem is there is no checks and balances for these types of locations everyone is expected to just have all day to waste. In the great stated of Texas we pay allot of taxes and i would pay a little more just to walk into one the fine government run location and get in and out. It is worth driving two hours to the middle of no where just to walk in take care of something and walk out you would spend that much time in line!

I have lived in Rockwall my whole life and the places here are very well maintained and the people are very sweet. I have never actually been to the TDPS office but i have to say i would never want to. Everytime i have tryed to call the office to get some kind of information and i am never able to get through. it does not matter what time of the day it is. i have called around the time that they open, before lunch, after lunch, right before they close and i am never able to get a live person on the phone. either they need todo a better a job with answering the phones or maybe just give a better contact number for this place!
