Yekta Market Kabob Counter

FIRST I am talking about supermarket:

I have been a customer for 20 years and always bought 300-400 $ worth of food every visit. I never had any problems with missing items, actually it was otherwise they even gave me a gift with many purchases. Great food, especially fresh fruits, preserves, flat breads, teas... and many other items.

SECOND About the restaurant: I used to love it. For many years I was going there twice a week.

It was like MobyDick. Great food not expensive. But after original owner died, I think 4-5 years ago they changed it to higher class restaurant,

I think food is still the same, but prices changed. So they lost me as customer... I am going to Moby Dick now for this type of food.

It is extremely rate for me to offer a comment online. I believe Yekta Market deserved such a dubious honor for being a thief-like store. Just opposite to the shoplifting, this market has robbed us multiple times for not delivering the purchased items. We have experienced five or six times that after buying and paying some items (still having receipts), we could not find them in the bags when we got home. They do not allow customers to bag the purchased items and deliver them over the counter. I think they quickly hoard a bag or two before the customer can catch a glimpse of it. You may ask why then we allowed it to continue to happen. Well, we also brought this issue to their attention, but they were dismissive each time and ignorant at times. In passing, I should also note that the owners display a classic rudeness from the culture they came from. Rather than sympathetic to their customers and making sure everything is handled decently, they display an improbable smugness hinting that the customers must be please for them being there.

Please share concern if you have been also robbed by this market and offended by the owners.
