Colonial Motel

Don't do it! Made reservations and had to cancel right after. Was told cancellation was done and when we asked for a confirmation number, we were told we didn't need it and all was good (a week prior). Tonight, 2 days before the date the reservations were made for, some guy with strong Indian accwnt calls to say the rooms can't be cancelled. What??? We cancelled a week prior and right after we made the reservation. Now we demanded the rooms be cancelled right now amd he refused. He said he will not cancel the rooms. Then the guy kept hanging up. "No, I will not cancel! Click!" Calling lawyer.

This is a very clean motel. Large room with microwave and fridge in room. The gentleman was very helpful. We needed a second key which he got us without a problem. I am handicapped and he said if you need anything just come to the office. I loved it here.

I unfortunately stayed in the motel for many months in an apartment. It was dirty, disgusting, dark, termite infested and old. Black mold in the shower.mold under the sinks and counters. the owners were horrible as well. they were very selfish alcoholics. I had received a Thanksgiving basket from a church and unfortunately was not available when they had come to drop it off. So the people who dropped it off brought it to the motel owner who let them in our room. When I got back they had taken the food that I was supposed to receive. When we had problems with our room we didn't get any help. The heaters did not work all winter and when we asked for help and they did nothing to fix the problem permanently.they were charging us $225.00 a week to stay in a bug infested room. When we had someone stay with us for a week they told us we had to pay an extra 25 a week. Not worth the quality of the room. Had previously stayed in a single 2 bed and people moved in next door bringing in roaches. nothing was done about it until after we moved out of the room. Back to the termites, someone else had a problem with them in their closet. When they asked for the owner to do something about it they sprayed termite killer all over their clothing. When they asked them to wash it they refused. Overall it is just horrible service. I understand if you need a place to stay for a night but even then it's not worth the money. Definitely not a good place if you're looking for a cheap apartment even if it's just part time. I have never been so disappointed. But I guess what can you expect from a motel as old is this one. the only positive thing is if you don't have all of the rent money you can get out of paying some of it because they are such alcoholics. They don't even realize what's going on towards the end of the day
