All Four Paws Grooming

I strongly recommend that you do your research before going to a groomer. Our usual groomer was booked and recommended a groomer but the name was so similar that we ended up at this one in Rock Island instead of Milan. The counter girl was disinterested and was offered photos and explanation of what our dog should look like and was even given the opportunity to contact our regular groomer if she did not understand. She kept saying "yep" uhh huh" and was not even interested in the large dog taking a large bathroom break on the floor while to poodles were nosing around the feces which for all we know could have worms, etc.... Needless to say, $150 dollars later, my dog is in complete patches with the fur cut all the way up his neck when it was MADE VERY CLEAR to leave his head and neck. If someone has questions they should call because he no longer resembles the collie that I dropped off. The other sore spot is that my cat had a horrible shave job done on her and has still not come out of hiding. I suspect she may have had a very bad experience because our local groomer never sends home a terrified cat with patches of fur and a dog that no one recognizes. An attempt was made to contact the owner, but she told us to groom our dog more often then we wouldn't have that problem. Our physical therapist was standing here and stated that he was not matted the way this owner insisted and our regular groomer can verify that it hasn't been 6 months since they were groomed. She said it took an hour and a half to get the matted fur out but yet our animals were not ready for pick up for almost 7 or 8 hours. It is my opinion that this business does not even deserve one star. I strongly felt that the people there don't even like animals with the way they behaved (most people oohh and ahhh over cute kitties and dogs, instead we got " call ya when they are ready for pickup).
