Primary Care
Arianna Stone is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care and has specifically chosen to specialize in the care of children. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2016 while also dually attending Vanderbilt University School of Nursing to earn her Master's of Science of Nursing in Pediatric Primary Care in 2017. Arianna absolutely loves caring for children of all ages; particularly newborns, infants, and adolescents! In her free time, Arianna loves experimenting in the kitchen, painting, gardening, and doing hot yoga.
Ear Infections
For the typical child, the easy answer is that your child keeps getting exposed to germs that make him/her sick. That doesn’t address the reason why you’re asking that question though, does it? There might really be one basic fear that drives that question: You’re worried your child might have some strange immune disorder that makes him/her more susceptible to illness. While this is possible, it is very very rare, and it’s a reason why keeping your regularly scheduled well and sick appointments with your pediatric office is so important. Your providers are trained to spot, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions and illnesses – not just your garden variety ear infection. Being exposed repeatedly to germs is only part of the answer. The other part of this is that an illness that seems to have gone on for weeks and weeks could really be one of two things. It could be that your child has just gotten 2 or 3 different illnesses in succession, or it could be that the one illness has just morphed into symptoms affecting different systems of your child's body.
Emergency Care
Our Saturday hours are for urgent care only made by appointment. These hours are typically 9:00 am - 12 noon, but they may vary if there are not enough patients needing an appointment. We also do not allow pick-up of prescriptions, school/daycare/camp forms, shot records or other items, since we cannot be guaranteed to be open as late as you may need. Call first thing in the morning in order to get on the schedule to see the provider. Saturday charges will apply. For more information, please see our Office Policies.

Immunizations
Complete immunization services from birth through adolescence, including the seasonal flu vaccines. We follow the CDC and AAP guidelines when scheduling your child’s vaccinations. For more information please check out: Vaccine Schedules

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
ADD/ADHD Medications You must leave a message with the nurse requesting a refill. Do not call the pharmacy. Our staff must call you for specific information before the doctor will send in a new prescription. After we speak with you, your prescription will be sent to your pharmacy within 24-48 business hours. Call your pharmacy to make sure the prescription has been filled before going there to pick it up.

Acne Treatment
Eczema
Asthma or Eczema Medications You must leave a message with the nurse requesting which medication you want refilled and how you’ve been using it. Do not call the pharmacy. Our staff will call you to ask specific questions before the medications will be refilled, and after we speak with you, the prescription will be sent to your pharmacy within 24-48 hours (sooner for rescue medication). You'll have to call your pharmacy to find out if it’s ready to pick up.
