Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The food portions are humongous and I took a doggie bag home with enough for 2 additional meals. I would suggest that they have a "senior menu" with smaller portions, maybe just one slab of meatloaf. We were visiting Charlotte, NC & we're told about this place. It was definitely worth the drive across state lines.

Nice atmosphere and good service. The menu selections were a bit limited and "pricey". The food I ordered was fried and tasted of old/burnt grease. The french fries were way too salty.

It was standing room only when we visited, but we were able to get a seat outside. It's covered, but the rain managed to get at us anyways. Wanted to order a flight, but they were out of little glasses. However, our waitress brought us each 3 samples in...little glasses. Ended up ordering a Porter and it was pretty marginal at best. Tried the Poutine. It was OK, but I'm not so sure about the pepper jelly.

Will definitely try again on a drier day.
