These guys from Silverback Moving were fantastic. My parents needed to be moved down to Lancaster. The Initial plan was for the whole family to help out, but considering they've accumulated a lot of heavy things, we figured it was best to call up Silverback Moving. Got the job done and the parents were happy, so as a result, I was happy!

Silverback Moving receives a gold star in my book. I've had several upsetting experience with movers in my day. Glad to say that Silverback Moving was not that way. Haha that rhymes, but literally. I can't imaging what those men have to deal with on the average day. Surprisingly their attitudes were still great. I was recommended to them by my realtor who said that previous clients had a good experience. Silverback Moving proved to me they did offer superior to service to the rest. Thanks again.

Silverback Moving came out when we needed them last minute. I was extremely impressed with how quickly they arrived and how they knew exactly what to do. As promised over the phone, Silverback Moving was not hiring day labor or rookies. Silverback Moving was professional every step of the way.

We called Silverback Moving to unload a single 53' in the small town of Plymouth. After phoning Silverback Moving and requesting 3 men fully equipped, 3 men fully equipped arrived the following morning ready to work. It's always a gamble hiring movers out of town for labor, but with Silverback Moving it was a sure bet. Happy as could be. We will certainly use Silverback Moving when in their area.

Silverback Moving did a fine job for my family this past July. We called Silverback Moving in a pinch after another local mover canceled on us last minute! The men from Silverback Moving were more like supermen. They saved the day.

Sam and Roger came out to the home in good spirits and ready to go. The good attitude went a long way. Throughout the entire day the guys were a huge help and did exactly as the office promised.

Silverback Moving and Storage certainly came to the rescue when we were in need of storage and packing supplies. We were beyond happy with what they had done to make our move more efficient and smooth. We were referred to them by a coworker at my wife's office.

The storage was climate controlled and all pieces were stored with proper protection. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind. The overall price for the storage was more than fair. I was thrilled with the service Silverback Moving provided.

Excellent all around. From the time of scheduling to the actual moving day, the service far exceeded our expectations. We had phoned Silverback Moving of Chicago to schedule. After speaking with their office in Lombard, their Van Line carrier sent a rep out to take an in home inventory. They quoted us at only $3,650 to move our 2,600 sqft home from N. Barrington IL to Bloomfield MI. By far the most reasonable quote we had received. The quote held true, we were billed ony $3,760 after all services were rendered. I've used agents of van lines in the past. I was very impressed with the attention to our timeline and keeping the overall price near the estimated cost. Service far exceeded our expectations. I will happily use their services again in the Birmingham area.

Silverback Moving handled a few key components of our service last spring and the service was overall very positive. The staff were skilled as promised and the company billed a reasonable price.

My husband and I recently like 5 days ago used Silverback Movin g(SCHEA VANLINES). THE WORST MOVING COMPANY! There was no sense of urgency or professionalism. They damaged our belongings, the walls, items are missing that CANNOT be replaced. Items that were left to me by my grandmother and grandfather when they passed. Cameron Schea ensured me on the numerous phone conversations that he would find a resolution and contact me back. NEVER HAPPENED. He seems trustworthy and nice I was fooled. I have called him everyday since the move and each time he either lies to me or doesn't pick up. The bed frame and set that are broken from the move, my missing jewelry and priceless family items will never be replaced and they don't seem to have a care in the world. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I would walk every box 20 miles before entrusting them with my belongings. I am hurt by the fact that the items they took are just things to them. They are memories and in some cases the only things I have left from family members that are no longer with me. They should not be in business. It wouldn't allow me to give no stars for the rating or I would have gone into the negative!

We had used this company last August and we had an excellent experience. I would refer them to anyone.

Terrible, I have had movers before and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I was moving from a 3 bedroom ranch with no stairs or basement. No appliances and very little heavy furniture. It took 3 men 3 hours for them to load the truck. My fiancé and I were closing on our house and so I had a friend who has dealt with movers over to supervise them, she said that they didn't really start working hard until my fiancé returned to the house. I specifically requested that they lay mats down or use booties in the new house, they failed to do that and didn't have them like customer service said they would. They were lazy and even broke a few things which they've yet to cover. The truck was loaded poorly so it took 2 loads to get everything which they of course charged us for. When I called customer service I was told that they wouldn't charge me for the 2nd load, my bill told a different story and now I'm having a hard time even getting through to anyone there. Then when they assembled the beds at the new house they literally just assembled them in the middle of the room and left. Didn't ask where we wanted them or anything. It was the worst, most stressful experience and I wouldn't recommend these lazy, half-assed movers to anyone. The point of hiring movers is to relieve the stress of moving. Not only did they do a crappy job but it took a total of over 6 hours and cost me almost a thousand dollars.

They showed up 4hrs late and damaged my furniture. Don't sign any papers if they damage your furniture. I'm taking them to court. Go some where else.

I agree with Catherine and Melissa this is a horrible, dishonest and disrespectful company. Not to mention the fact I believe they are fraudulent. They have 3 addresses 1 in Birmingham, MI and listed in Rochester, MI. Over the phone while scheduling my May 21st move they gave me the Birmingham, MI address which is on N Eton St but while confirming the day before they a different receptionist gave me the Hamlin address in Rochester. I asked about which address was correct I was told she had to get the other line and would call me back. The movers arrived late the day of the move and they were rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Cameron and his father which apparently are the owners have got to be the worst business owners walking this planet. They have no idea what good customer service is, they are habitual liars and charged me 3 times as much for my estimate then made me pay cash saying their credit card machine was suddenly down. Of course I didn't receive the discount they mention over the phone for paying cash. They lure you in with cheap prices and false promises. I would never use this company again. I don't even want to start talking about my damaged flat screen they dropped, my scratched wood floors and my broken washing machine which was brand new. I went to the Birmingham address of course there was no silverback moving there. Do not use this moving company unless you have money and time to waste. I give this company 0 stars and hope someone investigates this and shuts them down soon.

They are, as you say, dishonest, shady, not reputable, not ethical, have never worked with me to resolve damages their workers caused to cherished furniture and my wood floors.. They did not tell the truth in court. Gosh, Melissa, they hung up on both of us...and lifed about it. IMelissa says these positive reviews were written by the Company. Melissa, whoever you are, bravo. I'm in agreement ... and should have written this long ago. I wanted to wait till the outcome of a court hearing with them was finished. If they were reputable, they would have answered my calls, they would have wanted to work with me. All who read this...hire a well known, reputable company. Do not hire Silverback.

these are the worst movers ever. they charged double their quote even though they knew every piece I had. They were slow and dishonest. they ruined my brandnew bedroom set, lost bolts to furniture, used red tape on my bare wood furniture (leaving red everywhere) and put over 10 large holes in the walls of my brand new custom built house. I had items stolen while they were stored with them, and after two weeks of calling the office everyday..... NO CALL BACK. Some of the positive reviews are written by the company owners not real clients. they are crooks. Cost $2000 for 4 hours of moving with in the same city. Dont ever call them EVER!!!

Sold our house in Beverly Hills last January of 2012, at that time we were still in the process of building our new home in Wolverine Lake. We decided to put our things into their Waterford storage facility. All in all I was very pleased. My items were stored padded and wrapped as promised. The storage facility was also extremely clean which I was happy about. The price was a little more than the competition, but we found it to be a better option considering it is padded and climate controlled during the duration of storage. We took delivery of our items in December without any real issues. They litterally set up our new home just as our old home as promised. I had a good experience hiring the company.

We chose Silverback Moving to move (June 2011) from Texas to Michigan. The company representative who gave us a quote (Wayne) was very professional and helpful.



The packers came fully prepared and they were very polite. They handled and packed all our things with care. The movers were also great. They came to our house on time and we didn't have any issues with them. The driver even told us the exact date as to when we can expect our things to arrive in Michigan.



I would suggest to be nice to the movers (offer them water =)) because they will be nice to you and your things. Make sure to check everything when they load your things, so they won't leave any of your stuff behind since the truck is so enormous and your things are not the only ones there. Overall, the move was smooth sailing. We didn't incur any extra charges after the binding quote was made. No damages on our things after the move. The price was reasonable and their service was up to par. I would recommend Silverback Moving to everybody. I don't mind paying extra for packers. They're very efficient and experienced. The next time I move, I will use a reputable and professional company like Silverback Moving. Beware of other companies tha will give you lower estimates but will hassle you later and call you a million times to bother you.

I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know what a great job the gentleman from Silverback Moving who came out to my home last saturday did at facilitating my move. The team sent out by Silverback Moving was prompt in arriving, very professional & friendly, and did a great job all around. I was also getting my house newly painted and they were very careful not to leave marks on the walls, doors, etc. I sincerely appreciate the excellent service from Silverback Moving.

I called the company after seeing one of their trucks in my neighborhood.

The scheduling department was very friendly, and gave useful tips for the big day. I then received a phone call from the scheduler two days prior to confirm that we were ready for their moving service.



The day of, the crew called us prior to arriving to let us know they would be right on time. As soon as the truck and crew came to our front door they began working immediately. Did not stop until we were in our new home and the job was done.



I will deffinitly be using this moving company again when I move next year. Very pleased! I would recommend the service to anyone moving in Southeast Michigan.
