Anglin Medical Family and Sports Medicine

On 7/21/17 at 11:25AM, I saw Dr. Anglin, for my high blood pressure again. I am an established patient at this office for almost 1 year, and they have seen me before with very high blood pressure. At this visit, I presented no other symptoms; just high blood pressure. The PA was going to prescribe medication to help the Lisinopril do the job, and follow up Monday, and do an EKG to make sure that Im ok at the moment. A nurse tried to apply the EKG stick-ons, but my chest needed shaving. After 5 or 10 minutes of not finding a razor, the PA now says to drive myself to the ER. I was objecting when Dr. Anglin abruptly walks into the room saying We cant do anything for you hereIf I was having an emergency, how would I drive myself to the ER instead of my wife or ambulance? If Im in crisis, should I drive? Hippocratic Oath: I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

Dr. Anglin is a fantastic doctor. He knows what he's talking about, takes good care of his patients, and sets a good example with his own health.
