We had a HORRIBLE time dealing with this office when looking for an apartment in the area! The realtor we dealt with was flaky, unreliable, and withheld information about us about issues with the rental, while still happily accepting our deposit check.



After being promised our keys for over a week, with a new excuse being handed to us each day for why we couldn't get them, we finally learned the apartment we were supposed to be moving into didn't have a certificate of occupancy!! I learned from a friend who works with the township that the office was in fact aware there was more of hold up with the apartment then they indicated (we were told they were waiting on an inspection/the inspector no-showed, which we learned later was a lie), but apparently they were trying to buy time to resolve the situation.



The best part? THEY CASHED OUR DEPOSIT CHECK (which the realtor PROMISED us he wouldn't do until our situation was resolved).



When I finally called their office to speak with someone other than this man, the woman who picked up indicated that the realtor had claimed he hadn't heard from us and that's why he cashed the check (which was not true, considering we were emailing/calling him nonstop). We were able to thankfully get our money back, but that didn't save us from the time lost from the days missed from work, the storage unit we needed to rent to house our stuff, and the weeks of headaches that occurred after we realized we had no place to live.
